![Beach Walk: A Naturalists Review [Part 2]
Explore Puget Sound sea life as the tide goes out. This 35 minute video has been broken into 3 parts for presentation on YouTube: 1-Introduction, beach etiquette, and teaching tips; 2-Cobble/boulder beaches and the sea life that are commonly found on them (sea stars, crabs, snails, anemones, seaweed and more); and 3-Sand/mud beaches (eelgrass, clams, jellies, etc.) with additional habitats, ways you can protect sea life on the beach and at home, acknowledgements and links to other resources. This video is sponsored by Washington Sea Grant (part of the University of Washingtons College of the Environment) and produced by Nancy Sefton of Unicorn Studios in Poulsbo.
