At 6:25, artists themselves teach us the correct pronunciation of the band's name ;) Otherwise I've just seamlessly erased the bits they're talking over music and normalized the volume in few spots.
Khruangbin stands for "airplane" or "flying engine" in Thai. The name was picked by a bass player, Laura Lee, as she was learning to speak Thai right when the band was formed. They record all their tracks at a barn in Burton, Texas. Originally they wore their trademark black wigs to help them man their own merch stall after gigs without being recognized ;)
