~PLEASE READ~

Today was the last full performance for my university's musical Spring Awakening. I've come to love the show, especially its music! I've truly enjoyed working spotlights for it! ^^
It's sad that it is now over :(
Since I had too many emotions from the show today I decided to put together a quick and simple video with music from Spring Awakening and Kingdom Hearts.

I used The Song of Purple Summer because it is one of my favorite songs. The way I interpret this song, I believe the message from it is to live on. Even after all the suffering that you've been through, summer will come after the cold winter, so carry on and live on your life to the fullest.
I think this song is a truly beautiful ending to this amazing musical.

For those of you who aren't familiar with Spring Awakening it is an American musical based of a German play.
The musical is a comedy tragedy that discusses topics such as sex, suicide, child abuse, homosexuality and abortion.

I think Spring Awakening is a great musical, that I would highly recommend! However before watching it, you should know that it does involve "adult content".

This might help for those that are confused with this video:

{The Characters}
* Melchior Gabor (Sora) - headstrong, handsome and charismatic. He knows much more than the others because of what he reads in books and is able to see the corruption in society.
*Moritz Stiefel (Roxas) - Melchior's intense and nervous best friend. He feels intense pressure from his parents to succeed. He is traumatized and confused by puberty and his sexual awakenings.
*Wendla Bergmann (Kairi/Xion) - a naive young girl who has limited knowledge about adult relationships. She is a childhood friend of the boys. She has a romantic and sexual connection with Melchior.
*Ilse Neumann (Namine) - another childhood friend who runs away from an abusive home to become a Bohemian. She is Mortiz's love interest.

I've enjoyed making this, even though it's not as good as I think it could be. I didn't really illustrate Spring Awakening's story with the four main characters as much as I would have wanted to... Maybe I should make some more Kingdom Hearts and Spring Awakening videos...what do you think?
