Original method found by Rebelwatt. Saves 1-2 seconds in 1.5 beginner, and would save a considerable amount in level 1.
For the jump onto the red thing, you need to slash or glide onto it (so you don't grab the ledge,) otherwise enemies will spawn.
When jumping onto the roof, hold down, or else you'll spawn enemies there as well.
