Here it is guys! After 2months of editing and judging time, we finally got our winners from Round1! XD Congrats to the winning teams! XDD
Unfortunately, 2 teams from the battle got disqualified for not submitting their video on time. So, the 4th spot for Round2 is still not decided. To determine the 4th team, we got a change in our tournament format.
The 3 losing teams from Round1:
→ Excelion (RingAMV & Elinvonderskog)
→ Heidis (ShadowDemonBlackX & ABSTRACTxAMV)
→ Seiren (DNAbutterflies & LeeSplash)
will have a 3 way battle and the winner from this battle will be decided by viewers voting just like Round1.
▪RULES~
1) All 3 teams will be editing to the same song: The Good Life [by Three Days Grace].
2) The video length must be between 40~50sec. dont make it anything shorter or anything longer. Both editors in the team should get equal distribution of time. That means, each editor should get around 20~25sec.
3) Deadline for this battle is July 31, 11. Make sure to submit your video by then. Otherwise, your team will get disqualified.
4) All other rules are the same as Round1.

- Our Simple Studio RULES -
KFS is a studio mostly formed by some easy to get along with kinda people. So rather than focusing on recruiting new editors with some extravagant AE skills or whatever, were more interested in recruiting friendly editors who got some good enough editing skillz XDD
- Audition RULES -
1) Anime/Manga ONLY. No Game or Final Fantasy stuff!
2) We do action oriented stuff 99% of the time but not so random action to be precise. So if you dont edit that genre, youre in the wrong place!
3) All styles of editing are welcome (eg. Raw, FX, Mask and whatever other styles exist out there!)
4) You are free to use any editing program you like. KFS DOES NOT discriminate editors based on programs.
5) Members should be active. We have contests, MEPs and other events going on almost throughout the year. So, wed like the participation of the members at least once in a while. We dont want any GHOSTS!
6) The audition entry must be at least 30sec long.
7) We have zero tolerance for the act of stealing. BE ORIGINAL!

After 3months of a short journey, the KFS BBT finally has come to an end! This was our very first time hosting a beta battle tournament and even though some people backed out at every stage (except the Final), Id say this turned out to be a great tournament indeed :D So Id like to thank all the people who actively participated in this tournament on behalf of the whole KFS team ^_^ I hope you all had fun in this BBT and I also hope well have you participating in some of our future contests and tournaments as well.

Even though it was a battle among the TOP5, we got 4 places at the end coz two of you guys got a tied score!!
All 5 of you were simply AWESOME and it was a very tough choice deciding the winner. The Runner-Up lost to the Champ only by 0.1!!! haha xD So you all can imagine the intensity of the battle XD
We didnt talk about any prizes, but as an honor for making to the TOP5 and the Final Round, wed like to invite all of the finalists to join KFS AMV Studio. But this is only an invite, whether you join or not thats your choice. Its not mandatory.
So CONGRATS to the KFS BBT 2011 Champ and all the rest of the finalists! xD Hope you had a great time in this tournament =D
