This game is a port from the original Atari 2600 version and I really liked it! It starts to be difficult from level 4 on, but this is what makes this game be fun to play! Maybe it hasn’t good graphics, but what is important is the playability and this game has a good one!
You’re inside a shopping mall and you play as a cop that must stop the imposter within a minute of time. One minute expires and you lose a life.
Shopping mall has three floors and you can choose to go to the upper floor by taking the escalators as well as to take the lift (or “elevator”, as you prefer), depending on your situation.
One note is that you cannot go to the previous floor by escalators, you’re forced to only take the lift in that case.
You can only collect money bags and suitcases for 50 points. Other else should be avoided, since it removes 10 seconds of your time limit.
The most dangerous obstacle is the black airplane that immediately kills you, no matter how many seconds there are left (the second way to lose a life in this game).
Every time you win a level, you’re awarded with bonus points of the time left and in the first levels it is times 100 pts. Later on, your bonus score is multiplied times 200 and even later on it is times 300. Everytime you reach every 10.000 points you gain an extra life (Maximum you can reach is three).
The MSX version is my favorite, tbh!
