Hi there, first of all - don't shoot the messenger :) This is my real attempt to understand for myself if there is any real, meaningful difference between all these mechanical keyboards with magnetic switches or 8k vs 1k polling rates and so on. I will be happy to hear from you how to enhance this Keyboard Speed Test if you have any ideas!
First, let me explain what we’re testing today—the difference in delays between the start of a keypress and the first frame showing a reaction on the monitor.
Four different keyboards:
- Wooting 80HE - 8Hz
- Keychron K2HE - 1kHz
- MAD 68HE - 8kHz
- Random budget non-HE keyboard - (unknown Hz)
