Story Chasing | KEY WEST VAN LIFE: NO HOOKUPS, RECORD HIGH TEMPS, WORK & PLAY DAY (Van Life Travel Vlog) @storychasing | Uploaded April 2021 | Updated October 2024, 4 minutes ago.
Wouldn't you know I would be in record high temps in Key West Florida with 100% humidity during my van life travel vlog in the Florida Keys. It was HOT in the van, hot outside, hot everywhere and we had no hookups for the van and nothing available at the campground. So, we made the best of it with work and play day at camp, pulled the Nemo Stargazer chair over to the beach with a nice breeze crossing over Key West then eating pretty simply so as not to overheat. This was a time where I wish I had hookups!

Van life is usually pretty good and I follow 70-degree weather - which by the way was supposed to be the temps down here. I show you the good the bad and the ugly in my van life travel vlog.

Hi, I'm Amber and in May 2017 I started full time RV living. I started this nomadic journey after selling my house and all my belongings to pursue this crazy dream of traveling full time in an RV and creating incredible memories.

After 1 year of traveling, I sold my 26 foot Winnebago Class C RV for a more nimble Class B van on a Promaster 2500 chassis. Now in my 4th year of RVing in my camper van, I'm still loving this RV lifestyle and being a digital nomad. I almost always boondock in nature and really enjoy that off grid living.
