For our latest issue, we traveled to Biarritz to take a closer look at the local scene. The area has a strong connection to the skate industry, and naturally, it’s home to many people who are or have been part of it. Photographer Kevin Métallier is one of them. Especially in the early 2000s Kevin was shooting for numeros magazines and found his own way to travel the world (among others with Bastien Duverdier: youtube.com/watch?v=JWtJhiUmBfc and Javier Mendizabal: youtube.com/watch?v=Q58880RGqAo ). After becoming a father, he slowed down on the travel side and shifted his focus more toward fashion and studio photography. His love for print and analog photography is still going strong, though. We visited Kevin at his home in Biarritz, where he keeps a massive archive of his work.
