Kevin Costner has officially stepped away from the hit TV show "Yellowstone," and it wasn't the drama on screen that prompted his departure. The acclaimed actor revealed that the off-screen drama and conflicts made his decision to leave much easier.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Costner reflected on his return for the second part of Season 5, describing it as an intense experience. He realized it was time to move on, stating, "It was a necessary decision to say, 'Hey, OK, I don't want to really talk about this anymore. It's time to move on.'" He emphasized that he had given the show five seasons and was content with that, adding, "I don't need drama.
