► This video contains the cutscenes AND gameplay of the playstation 2 video game, Kessen II. I'm going to be honest here, this game may NOT be to everyone's taste and while I'm not familiar with this particular period in history, I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game and I was very captivated by the story. The only reason I know who Liu Bei and Cao Cao is, is because I played Warriors Orochi on the PSP WAY before I played this haha I liked that the gameplay can play for itself, but it was just too confusing at times. As the title states, I included Liu Bei AND Cao Cao’s story into this video. I will have timestamps to their story pinned in the comments down below. They follow similar beats, but they do tend to diverge every now and then. Also, some cutscenes in the game have this glitch where characters' clothes will just glitch erratically. I apologize for the inconvenience but it shouldn't distract TOO much from the viewing experience. As with all my game movies, I included gameplay bits to go along with the cutscenes to make the game more enjoyable to watch :) I hope you ALL enjoy this video. It took me a week to beat this game :/ My next game movie will be Kung Fu Panda on the PlayStation 3. Kessen II is a strategy game loosely based on the Three Kingdoms period of China. It is the sequel to Kessen in name only; both Kessen and the later sequel Kessen III are based on events in Japan and China. The gameplay involves playing out major battles as the storyline progresses, with cutscenes between each battle for the development of the events and major characters. The plot of Kessen II is a heavily fantasized version of the novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms. The last of the Han dynasty family, Liu Bei, begins a rebellion against the kingdom of Wei led by Cao Cao, with much of the game's events being based on the novel with alterations due to the different storylines.
