This was my first ever proper 1m20 course at a show, I've trained over a few bigger fences/short courses but never really had the opportunity to jump bigger at shows due to being on youngsters or not feel confident enough on the horse. Kes only did her first ever 1m10 course a few weeks ago so she's very inexperienced at this height too! A couple of poles down due to both of us being inexperienced but i'm over the moon as she was jumping out of her skin!!

( rendered the video in the wrong setting so quality is crap, sorry!)
WOW! how this horse has changed! Definitely getting more in sync and balanced on him, it has been hard for me to drastically change my jumping position to suit his jump, im very used to a natural release and quite a forceful landing position ( used for years of hunting lol) But i have discovered that Alfie needs a bigger release and for me to stay in my JP a bit longer on the landing. As you can see its far from perfect and there are still times i get a bit out of balance but i definitely think there is less catching in the mouth and me almost falling off when he jumps big haha!
Excited about our future :)
Also sorry for lack of non jumping videos recently, im not as dedicated to getting videos as i used to be so i usually only get it out when jumping :)
