Armen’s family fled their hometown in South Kivu, DRC, after militias attempted to kill her two sisters living with disability. As the eldest of her household, and because of her mother's age, Armen is responsible for her siblings. Unfortunately, the menial jobs alone that she can find from time to time are not enough to cover their needs.
