On a damp, wet and muddy Saturday we took the short trip over to Maidstone for a visit to the wonderful Kent Life.

It's the perfect place for little ones and there are plenty of animals for them to look at and if you visit Cuddle Corner you'll even get to stroke a couple of them.

There are a couple of reconstructed buildings from the 17th/18th century and a church where you can actually get married!
