A few days ago I heard a message on my phone from a pal I don’t get to see very often, Kenny Johnson. In the message he said he was thinking about me and wanted to tell me that he loved me a lot... it was quite a beautiful message. I called him back immediately and we talked for a good half hour. It was great... always loved a good chat with Kenny.
He said he was thinking about me because he was thinking about how he lost his best friend and his brother in a very short amount of time and the anniversary of that sad time had just happened. He mentioned that he thought of me often during these times because of the losses I have had to endure throughout the years. It was a great conversation... and we talked about getting together as soon as possible. Now dear Kenny has added another loss to my life.
This morning I wake up to an RIP about him. Apparently he died yesterday... I don’t know how at this point but I’m so saddened by this. What a sweet soul Kenny was... always kind, always smiling and then there was that lovely voice...
