Ken Scott talks with Russ Cottier at Abbey Road Studios about drum recording techniques - Ken is a legendary recording engineer and producer having worked with The Beatles, David Bowie and many other great musicians. Great sounding drums are one of his trademarks so Russ was keen to find out.

This interview was originally shot at Abbey Road back in 2011 and for some reason we hadn't put it up here on our YouTube channel - we hope that you enjoy!

The interview starts talking about the drum sample library that Ken recorded (Epic Drums) and about 10 minutes in goes in to more detail about his drum recording techniques, approach and then on to other instruments and production in general. A really interesting interview and many thanks to Russ Cottier for coming to record this and of course Ken for his time!
