Kekkai Sensen (Blood Blockade Battlefront) is an anime series based on manga editions of the same name. With Yasuhiro Nightow serving as the writer, the mangas came out in January 2009. After a long gap of six years, it finally got adapted into an anime show in 2015. Two seasons have been dispatched so far. They consist of a total of 24 episodes in addition to a couple of OVAs. The previous season ended in December 2017. Numerous petitions have surfaced on the internet regarding the demand for its third season. Still, we have received no word from the executives about the future of the show.
