USB battery packs offer a huge amount of capacity, and the ability to light our terrain for weeks at a time, IF we can keep them from powering down, or sleeping.
For example, a 1000mA battery might be able to drive a 5mA LED for as much as 200 hours! (losing a little to inefficiency etc). But, if you don't draw enough current, they often power down!
This video explains the problem and two potential work arounds.
This kind of technology can be used to improve your warhammer, dungeons and dragons, necromunda and other wargaming terrain!
