As August unfolds, many of us find ourselves living in two seasons at once.
The tomatoes are still ripening.
The herbs still need drying.
The garden is still producing.
At the same time, school has begun, calendars are filling, routines are changing, and life is beginning to move a little faster.
Tonight on The Modern Home Economist, we're talking about how to protect the peace of home while adjusting to changing seasons. We'll share stories from our own homes, celebrate what our community has been harvesting, and encourage one another as we continue building homes with intention.
Tonight we'll be sharing:
...Porch Conversation: When the rhythm of home begins to change
...Around My House: Choosing today's priorities with wisdom and flexibility
...Growing Food for the Home: Celebrating harvests from our wonderful community
...Come Sit at My Table: How preparation creates peace during busy seasons
...Modern Home Economist Moment: Confidence grows one thoughtful decision at a time
We'd Love to Hear From You
❤️ What family rhythm helps your home feel peaceful when life gets busy?
Maybe it's...
• a simple morning routine
• family dinners together
• meal planning
• a freezer meal waiting for a busy day
• preparing on Sundays
Share your thoughts in the comments—we always enjoy hearing what's happening around your homes.
