Keeping the shop/studio clean means storing equipment and materials elsewhere - elsewhere meaning a storage room above the workplace. Access between the two is via a platform elevator. This video is a brief overview of that elevator and how it operates. All this due to a Fairy Shrimp infestation! You see, fairy shrimp are an endangered species and they inhabit the land around me. This means that I can not build on most of the property that I own. So, when we decided to build a new shop/studio we were limited in how much building we could squeeze into our “non-inhabited” fairy land. The answer was to build up and join floors with an elevator.
