Yes, we are in the same room.
Stevie's been a great friend of mine for the past year or so, and the moment we found out we both live in New Jersey, we knew we'd have to meet up at some point. Stevie came over to my place to chill out for a few hours and we decided to challenge ourselves by arranging and recording an entire track in the time we had together. It took about an hour (thanks to a lot of looping) and I'm really proud of what we were able to come up with.
I wouldn't say this is either of our best works, but it was a blast to work on. We started off with a piano part played by Stevie, and we stacked guitars, bass, vocals, and percussion on top until we had something we were happy with. Stevie came up with all the lyrics in about 5 minutes. I still have no idea what they mean or who Donna is.
Hope you enjoy this little departure from the typical metal covers you would normally get from me! We both had a lot of fun hanging out and making this track.
