This is a fun and beautiful trip down the historic Alafia River. A one way downstream trip so you'll need to provide a shuttle at the take out point at Lithia Springs Park. Plan for 3 to 4 hours if paddling casually. There is a potential small spot to take a break at around the halfway point at Turkey Creek but could be hard to stop there if the water levels are high. Be prepared for some challenging areas as the currents can be fairly strog and you may encounter some fallen trees and debris to navigate over or through. Hope you enjoy the video.
