"I see the painting Niagara as one of the best paintings I've ever made," says Kay WalkingStick in this video about the artist and her landmark painting that's on view through April 14, 2024 as part of the exhibition "Kay WalkingStick / Hudson River School". Curator Wendy Nālani E. Ikemoto contextualizes the work, which recently became the first painting by a Native artist to join New-York Historical's collection.
