Romanian heavy metal force KATHAREIN marks a defining moment in their journey with the release of their debut album, Lucky Shots, now available on CD. Thirteen tracks of raw power and relentless energy — a full-throttle celebration of classic heavy metal, fuelled by the spirit of legends like Megadeth, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.
KATHAREIN were founded in 2022 by Silviu (vocals & rhythm guitar) and Skozy (lead guitar). Joined by Zorand on bass and Nicholas on drums, the lineup was complete — and so was the sound: razor-sharp riffs, punishing rhythms and vocals that command attention from the first note.
Throughout 2024, the band poured everything into recording Lucky Shots, releasing singles one by one and building a wave of anticipation across the heavy metal community. Now the wait is over — the physical CD is here. This is not just a debut album. It's a statement. A declaration that KATHAREIN are ready to take on the international metal scene — and they're not asking for permission.
