Kate Oates stopped by for a red carpet chat with Rory O'Connor at the BAFTA TV Awards.

At the time of the interview, Kate was at the helm of Coronation Street before moving over to EastEnders.

Kate discussed the demise of Pat Phelan and what viewers could expect to see unfolding in the weeks that followed.
