“The Man with the Child in His Eyes”
From my favorite Kate Bush album “The Kick Inside”, I immediately connected with this song when I first listened to it because I have had the same experience of sensing a sort of “Voice” or an influence growing up, which lead me to write the original song, “Voice” when I was 18.
“ザ•マンウィズ ア チャイルド イン ヒズ アイズ”
日本語で書くと長いタイトル。ケイトブッシュの中でも一番好きなアルバムから。歌詞の内容は、夢物語のような、不思議な男の話。すぐにこの歌と共感したのは、昔からメッセージをくれるような幻想的な存在がいる気がしていたから。そんな体験を、18歳の時に自分の曲"Voice”として書きました。
