Jammu & Kashmir, Apr 4(ANI): The historic almond garden in Jammu & Kashmir is once again becoming a popular tourist destination with some of its past glory restored. Known as 'Badamwari' in local parlance, the garden constitutes an integral part of Kashmiri tradition. However conditions deteriorated with stepped up insurgency in 1991 and it was eventually closed down. The J&K bank breathed new life into the garden, restoring the glorious natural heritage of the past.
