“Why do birds suddenly appear every time you are near?” That's a romantic notion courtesy of the Carpenters' “Close To You” circa 1970, yet it's a true sentiment for people who find themselves suddenly submerged in love, and it's a play Kasbo makes on the intro to his perfectly amorous single “Found You.”
The whimsical tune features airy, iridescent vocals from Chelsea Cutler and drifts through the air, except for the clunky percussion, which brings a bounce to the song that otherwise would float into the sky far out of reach.
