This is my first mallet quartet, which I began in high school and finished during my freshman year in college. It's hilarious to me listening back now, because as I was growing as a musician, the piece slowly became more difficult. One clear example is the solo section (2:20 - 3:10). The first xylophone solo is short and sweet, but the final solo (bass marimba) is way longer and several times more difficult. Good luck to whoever plays that part! Aaron #3 (aka 'Homeboy') spent a few days working that up before were able to record the video.
