Karoline Leavitt has officially left her role as White House Press Secretary, with her final day on August 27th after President Trump announced the departure on August 12th.
At 29, she was the youngest person ever to hold the job, and the first to give birth while serving, welcoming her second child in May before returning from maternity leave in July.
Leavitt says she's stepping down to spend more time with her two young kids, calling it a "bittersweet" decision, while Trump says she'll stay on as one of his top outside advisors heading into the midterms.
