Karnal steps up for his debut on Dispatch Limited with a heavyweight two-tracker in 'Set Speed / Procedure.'
'When these tunes came in as demos I'd never heard of Zac's work previously. It's always a nice surprise when someone you've never heard of sends some great music over, and I jumped at the chance to sign these. 'Set Speed' wastes no time setting the tone - lively vocal cuts ride over relentless rolling drums and heavyweight low-end pressure, delivering pure soundsystem energy with a sharp modern edge. There's a rawness at the core, but every element is dialled with precision, balancing Bristol bass heritage with slick, forward-facing production.
That same momentum carries seamlessly into 'Procedure', locking into a deeper, heads-down groove while maintaining the tension and drive established on the A-side. Taut atmospherics, rugged bass weight and intricate drum work underline Karnal's instinct for movement and control across both tracks.
Two cuts packed with energy and intent - a standout debut from a producer already carving a distinct lane for himself.

His work has received support across BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Asian Network and Noisia Radio, reflecting the breadth of his reach across scene and sound.
This album channels that lifetime of practice. Drawing on his background in mixing, narrative-driven sound design and musical storytelling, Unforced Rhythms explores patience in creation - finding power in space, choosing subtlety over excess and letting emotion drive production. The title speaks to trusting momentum rather than forcing it, in music and in life.
The album explores recurring themes of decision-making, humility, faith, space and control. Its tracks move between rolling floor energy, meditative atmospheres and reflective listening pieces - all underpinned by Wreckless technical precision and emotional focus.
