Karnal steps up for his debut on Dispatch Limited with a heavyweight two-tracker in 'Set Speed / Procedure.'
'When these tunes came in as demos I'd never heard of Zac's work previously. It's always a nice surprise when someone you've never heard of sends some great music over, and I jumped at the chance to sign these. Bristol bass with a modern twist throughout on these two, grade A production too. Can't wait to hear more of what he does in future.' - Ant TC1
'Set Speed' wastes no time setting the tone - lively vocal cuts ride over relentless rolling drums and heavyweight low-end pressure, delivering pure soundsystem energy with a sharp modern edge. There's a rawness at the core, but every element is dialled with precision, balancing Bristol bass heritage with slick, forward-facing production.
That same momentum carries seamlessly into 'Procedure', locking into a deeper, heads-down groove while maintaining the tension and drive established on the A-side. Taut atmospherics, rugged bass weight and intricate drum work underline Karnal's instinct for movement and control across both tracks.
Two cuts packed with energy and intent - a standout debut from a producer already carving a distinct lane for himself.

![Wreckless - Deliberation [BEATPORT & BANDCAMP EXCLUSIVE] Unforced Rhythms Album
With over two decades immersed in sound, Matt Chapman - aka Wreckless - delivers his debut Dispatch Recordings Album - Unforced Rhythms: a mature and deeply personal body of work shaped by his experience as an artist, educator and audio engineer.
Active in audio since 2004, Wreckless is a lecturer at two London universities, mixing & mastering engineer and established producer with music on Metalheadz, Dispatch Recordings, Subtitles, Sofa Sound, Flexout, Fokuz, Peer Pressure, Rebel Music and more. His work has received support across BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, Asian Network and Noisia Radio, reflecting the breadth of his reach across scene and sound.
This album channels that lifetime of practice. Drawing on his background in mixing, narrative-driven sound design and musical storytelling, Unforced Rhythms explores patience in creation - finding power in space, choosing subtlety over excess and letting emotion drive production. The title speaks to trusting momentum rather than forcing it, in music and in life.
The album explores recurring themes of decision-making, humility, faith, space and control. Its tracks move between rolling floor energy, meditative atmospheres and reflective listening pieces - all underpinned by Wreckless technical precision and emotional focus.

The Last Of A Dying Breed EP series returns with Volume 2, seeing NC-17 & Philth continue their collaborative celebration of tech drum and bass. Following the well-received first edition of this series of EPs, Volume 2 provides more of the grit and funk that defined the classic era of drum and bass - something that both NC-17 and Philth champion throughout their DJ sets and studio output.
Layered, rolling, progressive tracks that deliver huge dance floor appeal, matched with the crisp, technical production that both artists are known for.

NC-17 returns to Dispatch Recordings with No One Lives Forever - a cinematic new full-length project shaped by Peter’s long-standing obsession with film culture, tension-building and stripped-back low-end design. Following a run of critically acclaimed LPs for the label, the album sees NC-17 refining his sound further than ever before: less clutter, more weight, more atmosphere and a deeper focus on groove, movement and emotional impact.
Heavily influenced by cinema both sonically and conceptually, No One Lives Forever plays like a series of noir-infused scenes unfolding across rolling subs, hypnotic percussion, razor-sharp drum programming and moments of widescreen intensity. The project arrives alongside a major crossover moment for the artist, with NC-17 featured in a new Sight & Sound (BFI) interview exploring the relationship between film and music, including contributions and quotes from legendary filmmakers such as Quentin Tarantino, Paul Schrader, Sean Baker and Roger Avary.
Featuring guest appearances from Dub Head, Leaf, Myth and Philth, the album continues the aesthetic hinted at on lead samplers ‘Death Threat’ and ‘Bongo Inc’ - tracks already heavily supported by Ant TC1, Goldie and The Sauce camp.
With No One Lives Forever, NC-17 delivers his most focused and cinematic body of work to date - a record that bridges underground Drum & Bass craftsmanship with the atmosphere, pacing and emotional depth of cult cinema.
