The Kansas Republican Party hosted a debate between four of the 2018 gubernatorial candidates at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Wichita. Wink Hartman, Kris Kobach, Ken Selzer, and Mark Hutton participated. Governor Colyer was scheduled to participate but became ill, and Jim Barnett did not agree to the KSGOP rules for the debate.

The debate was broadcast live by KGPT 26 TV.
