President Donald Trump announced Friday plans to lower beef prices by importing beef. Over 90 days, President Trump plans to bring in 300 thousand metric tons of beef without activating the 'out-of-quota tariff tax.'

It's a move that received pushback from American ranchers. The US Cattleman's Association president is worried it would weaken domestic markets and gambles with food safety.
