A Kansas City woman celebrated her 107th birthday Saturday surrounded by nearly 150 relatives and friends. Mason Byrd, born in 1919, raised nine children and has spent most of her life in Kansas City. Her family credits her longevity to healthy habits, a love of people and an ability to avoid stress.
