Today was a showcase for the upcoming assemble update for the other non maplestory korea or global regions, and here they finally showcased gameplay for the remastered Hayato and Kanna classes! Starting with Kanna her skills look a lot different now. All her core skills have somehow been transformed into anime waifus. For example Tengu now seems to fly around and attack occasionally. Her skills also look a lot more simplified and visually a lot cleaner. I did really like the old style but this definitely looks more modern and slick. And it feels a lot easier to see what is actually going on haha. Kanna will also be using more Charm based attacks, and that big haku fox attack looks amazing. But really the cherry on top is that origin skill, wow that looks amazing! Sadly we dont know that many details regarding her skill, damage and her supportive skills like domain. So stay tuned for more updates early next year.
Hayato is next and he also looks like an absolute beast. Looks like he is keeping his huge attacks and great mobility. Judging from the gameplay it also looks like he keeps his gauge mechanic. And was that a parry against gloom that I saw? For Hayato there was a bit more shown during the event. Where we can see him using various skills against a dummy. Looks like the class also has been simplified and the animations look a lot more modern. Both Hayato and Kanna mains are going to be eating good this update. The release for most regions is on the 14th of January but it is unknown when our region, maplestory global will get the remastered hayato and kanna. Perhaps around the same time.
Oh and during this showcase they also showed the new origin skills for Mo Xuan and Lynn, since we never saw those yet I included them in this video too! Quick update video for today!
