Kanawha County school employees are stepping up after flooding delayed the start of classes.

Staff are distributing meals, clothing, backpacks and cleanup supplies while checking in on families impacted by the flooding. Students at the 10 affected schools are now scheduled to return Monday, Aug. 24.
