Kamakura is an amazing place to visit, with so many things to see. It almost feels like a day isn't enough to do it. Luckily, it's only about an hour south of Tokyo. This is the perfect setting for our next mini-adventure. Hop on the train with me and let's take a Kamakura day trip from Tokyo.

If youre a Gundam fan, this is an oldie, but a goodie. I had a chance to visit the Gundam
RX-78 statue when it was in Odaiba, Japan. The Gundam statues do change from time to time,
but this is the one I really wanted to see while it was still there.

If youre not familiar, SUICA cards make commuting on the Japan Rail MUCH easier.
Instead of buying tickets for every station you have to go to, you add money to this card.
As long as you have enough money on it, you can just touch it to a panel to pass through JR ticket gates with no fuss.
