Kali River Rapids at Disney's Animal Kingdom park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida celebrates its 27th Anniversary today! Following the story of the deforestation of our jungles, Kali River Rapids focuses on delivering guests on an adventure driven through storytelling and emotion, experiencing how humanity's need for growth can sometimes lead to permanent damage to our ecosystems. From there, Kali River Rapids has guests go down a more than 30-foot drop to the bottom, where waterfalls, sprinklers, and fountains splash onto them! Though Kali River Rapids isn't the longest nor most impressive River Rapids Disney has built, it still is a highlight of Disney's Animal Kingdom park and should be done, especially during hotter times of the season.
