Sword art online always had a great background music. Many other tracks composed for different shows by same composer, Kajiura Yuki, really do in some places hint towards a similar composition as few SAO tracks. Similar, not same.
Anyway, this was the only track that got my attention in Ordinal Scale. Show itself was pretty mediocre (but oh boy that animation with those visual effects was really something on a different level altogether).
This track is a slower and softer rendition of Luminous Sword I think.
There isn't much for me to say about this track, pretty simple and sweet. There isn't anything new in this one, its just, it was a nice flashback type of track to the original series for me, hence why the "SP" tag.
Many of the tracks in the original SAO were also different renditions of different parts of the track "Luminous Sword". It could be the other way around, that Luminous Sword was a combination of different tracks lol, but at least that track is good enough for generalizing others. There werent many tracks in heavens feel that really stood out for me. There was only one upload I did for Heavens feel movie - Presage Flower and that too was not something I found to be very great, but something that went nice ( which unfortunately got copyright blocked ). Movie 2 - Lost Butterfly had nothing that caught my ear, and here is Movie 3 - Spring Song, which had a couple of tracks. From entire heavens feel movie series, id pick this one to be my favourite, much unlike the fate anime series ( including the 2006 one ) where it was hard for me to put my finger on one favourite.
BUT soundtracks aside, this was probably the best fate route ( and probably the most darkest and emotional one as well ) I have seen. Still I would have preferred the anime format better, but the movies did not disappoint at all.
Anyway, coming back to the track, If I recall correctly, this played pretty early on in the movie, and it was right at that intro section of the movie where I knew I needed this track. Funnily enough, we have the signature vocals composed by Kajiura Yuki, HOWEVER these are not just normally composed vocals by her. They are much much more! If you pay attention to it, these vocals are also the tune of the ending song of movie 3 called Haru wa Yuku. The music is ofcourse music and different, but the symphony is more or less the same. Vocals make it a little hard to notice easily but if you listen to the symphony in this track, and in the ending song Haru wa Yuku, you will easily notice the resemblace, at least in the first two sections of the track.
The chorus is pretty straightforward, and the background music being more towards the ambient side in the first section of this track, from 0:00 to 0:41. From 0:41 section, the vocal music remains similar, but there is a xylophone added to it making it sound more like a soundtrack. The part is really beautiful, and the overall soundtrack has a mix of emotions, both sadness and happiness, but I think it leans more towards the sad side. But can be interpreted in any way I believe. This second section ends at 1:21 and the track then shifts into the third section of it. Its a little different than the first two where the vocals change their music and a small cello section added to it, but the track closes it pretty quickly in 30 seconds. A little different and honestly I dont know what to feel about this part, but it maintains the flow of the music.
The first two sections remain as my favourite.
I am just a big fan of Haru wa Yuku and it wasnt until a few days later when I listened to this track back that I realized the actual music of it. Added more depth to an already great track, at least for me.

Boku dake ga inai machi had a really nice overall soundtrack composition. Many tracks went really good with the show and this is something I appreciate now even more than I did before.
It has been a very long time since I listened to Eraseds soundtracks, and when I was looking for something to upload as SP and listened to this, I was so reminded of the overall vibe of Erased. Loneliness and sadness describe this track very well. The music is so tender and soft, the music has such a nice tune, this track is overall quite good. The track also follows its overall tune nicely and develops on mostly one tune throughout. It does not change pace or shifts to other direction, just follows one soft and simple tune throughout, which even after that does not feel repetitive and also does not extend itself too long.
The instrument sounds like something from xylophone family, but it might also have something like kalimba considering those clicky like sounds. The overall track just screams of Yuki Kaijuras style as the instruments and how the entire track is arranged is very similar to some of the tracks from other works of Kajiura, like from Sword Art Online.
PS: I know there was no upload last week, It was a busy week for me with work and I just wanted to relax on the weekend :P

One of the tracks that took me a long time to find, but worth it.
This is a piano + acoustic guitar version of the main theme of katsugeki/touken ranbu. Really liked this track in episode 6, in the first units part of the episode.
It has that emotional as well as well as hope aspect.
One of the reasons why I really like this track is the part right before it ends. The part at 1:07. If anyone would have noticed, that little tune is a bit different from the tune that this track played from the start.
That different part is actually a small adaptation of a different track (Ive not uploaded that and probably will not because there are only small parts in it that are good).
It was a total surprise (and a good one at that) to me when i heard that part right near the end. The transition from the main theme to that part, was quite nice.

The best track in Eureka Seven AO, and probably the only track I really noticed that stood apart in the entire anime.
This track really gives away the feeling of stress,Doubt, Uncertainty,Desperation, especially in the 0:32 part.
The violins at 0:32 is are just so superb. The listeners can themselves get an idea about what the situation might be in the show where this track was played.
The violins and drums just set the atmosphere perfectly.
Honestly, 0:32 part is the only reason I like this track so much. I wouldnt have really minded if the track itself ended at around 1:12 haha.
Eureka Seven AO itself was a let-down, even more let down than its prequel for me, except a few scenes, but still those scenes cant save the entire show.
One of the scenes I really liked in this show, is the one that is currently the background of this video :p The scene itself looks pretty intriguing even for a guy who hasnt watched the anime yet.

This is my favourite track from Garo : Vanishing line.
This track just always hyped up the next episode sequence at the end of every episode for me XD.
The Piano tune is so catchy~ The drums and the bass just makes the whole track pumpy and actiony.
There are also some vocals from 0:23 but I think they are only added for the atmosphere, nothing else.
A damn amazing track, this one.

This is the track that opens the show right in the first episode ( if you consider episode 0 as first one ) and the start of this track really captured me a ton.
If I do say honestly, the first and the ending section of this track are the ones that I like the most. Although this is a good track in the middle section of it too, but it feels a little different considering the atmosphere set up by the start of the track. I personally feel the first section is the one that should have been focussed on and developed more and the middle one could have been kept as another new track, but anyway.
That little piano (or maybe some processed string instrument? I am not too srue) and ambient section from 0:00 to 0:05 was such an instant hook for me. And then when the orchestral strings come at 0:06, this track just reaches its pinnacle for me. The pianos and violins, deep bass, light but deep drums, the track just sounds genuinely amazing at this point, continuing upto 0:41.
From 0:42 onwards the theme kind of changes into a kind of transition phase to the action packed part starting at 1:06.
The track sounds different but when looking at it overall, it doesnt sound too different in terms of theme (but still sounds different) set by the initial tune. It just feels more actiony at this point. The section from 1:06 to 1:12 also sounds quite good in my opinion, but doesnt really top the initial section for me. The rest of the section is also fairly well done in all honestly, but its just that I was having a different expectation from this track from start. This action set section continues to 1:54 and from 1:55, the track goes back to its starting music, but with a slightly different music composition to give the track a closing.
Overall a really great track, and once again I am not demeaning the middle section which is good in itself and I do listen to that too at times, its just about what I was looking for in this.
PS: Choosing a wallpaper for this was really tough as I wanted to use one that was kind of generalized grand/order wallpaper but the name of the track and the middle action part would not go with that. Looking at the places this was used in the show (especially the start of episode 0), I just want with a bit more on the action side wallpaper.

In a general sense, this is basically Sayas theme in Blood+ anime.
The theme was modified into different versions to portray different situations and feelings. All versions are great but this will be the one I will select for uploading. Others, Ill probably keep for my SP series (lol, one day I will do another upload in that. One day.)
The melody is just great. I think this was the first (and probably only?) track that got my good attention in the entire show.
The flute (or a similar instrument) part in the start was quite pleasant and melodious. The clinking sounds (probably xylophone or a triangle) add quite a nice touch touch to the tune.
I really like how this track starts softly and then turns into a powerful one near the end. I absolutely adore how the track picks up at 1:10 but really tones down for 1:27 part, just amazing.
I really love this track..
PS: There will not be any upload next week due to my exams. Sorry for that.

Nothing over the top good this time, just a nice militaristic theme this week.
The track starts really nicely with that horn and some strings in the background. The horn tune really sounds very nice and militaristic. The overall track just portrays a very nice militaristic theme. I believe this track can go really well as both a pre-war and war-conclusion type of music. The track slowly picks up with instruments being added one by one and all continue the same tune for the most of the track. The overall Brass composition was a really nice hear for me. Kinda reminded me a little of the initial part of Silver Star track from battleship movie.
The track picks quite good from 1:02 when all the instruments come together. The vocal sound at 1:17 was an extremely good touch to this track as well.

Finally.
Damn I stay way back when it comes to this uploading stuff. Almost 2 years late. But well, I am bound to other duties too so ~
Anyways, my favourite from My hero Academia hands down.
There are other good tracks too, but the powerful effect of this track really overwhelms you. Both the scene where it played (background image) as well as this track never fails to give goosebumps. Even though this story of this is not the that of a typical action anime with emotional content (talking as of season 1), the way it still never fails to shake the listener up is really amazing.
I doubt theres anyone who would not like this track.
Extra info for anyone who is genuinely interested in how I feel about this track : -
The reason I cut this part off is because the start is kinda mediocre and does not really do much to build up to this music. Dont get me wrong, I am not saying the start is bad or anything, its just, okish and doesnt really do anything specific to enhance this track. What I mean can be understood if you listen to the following tracks and how their start has a role to play to the main buildup :-
1) Lit(var) [ Koe no katachi ] - If you listen to it, youll notice how the starting tune provides the base for the main music to kick in.
2) Fight for a Shining tomorrow [ Gakkou Gurashii ] - Till 0:40, that track creates as extremely dark atmosphere. Which totally complements the further music of the track.
3) (best one) Noname [ Koutetsujou no Kabaneri ] - This will definitely show how much important the start is for a track. In the start, this track feels really jumbled with notes but when the main theme kicks in at around 0:55, you realize how amazing the track it.
All these 3 tracks are up in my channel so you dont need to search somewhere else and wonder if you are listening to the right one.
What I simply mean by all this, is that the track should not feel disjointed with its other parts. Hiroyuki Sawano does that a lot of times and ill definitely say I am not a fan of this. If you notice, most of the tracks which Ive uploaded from him are also cut short versions.
I really felt this track to be disjointed from its start, especially how it goes totally silent before the main theme kicks and the start music, does not have much relevance to the main theme. It just feels like some sort of heavenly music in a church (lol). Hence the reason I cut short this track. As usual, if there is any request to upload complete track, ill fulfill.
Do not take this review as some of professional feedback or anything of that sort. This is just a review from a guy who loves listening to tracks. I mean no negativeness by this, just my opinion.
This part, ill say again, is really damn good.

I really like the emotional touch in this track.
Its slow and calmn in its tune. The melody itself is pretty nice and soothing to hear. What I believe this track portrays is achievement, be it in any field, hence why this choice of wallpaper. Although this track was used in a little different type of scene (or I noticed it for the first time in that), still this track has a nice emotional touch.
The slow violins in the background add a nice depth to it as well. Personally, I like this track more than Mihos theme (that theme is the only one I marked that has some sort of emotional touch to it), but cant really compare these two tracks since they both are very different in what they overall portray.
And with this track, bakumans tracks are brought to a close. New series from next time.

This track is quite unique considering the general scheme SAO tracks follow. Usually they are either soft, ambient or big orchestral compositions showing character themes. However this track really focusses on the villainy and mysterious atmosphere of its character.
It totally caught me off guard when it first played in episode 2s end. Right when the camera moved to the skies and focussed on the tower and moon, it was an instant feeling of There is definitely something up there. The track really focusses on Mystery part with a little touch of villainy.
The bass and the beats are probably the best parts of this track. The vocals uplift the track, but the main attraction for me still lies in the beats. The entire background composition behind the vocals is extremely catchy. Many of the instruments are, I believe, processed in some way or maybe synthesized directly as I have not heard of them so Ill just have to refer them through timestamps.
Right when the beats start at 00:10, there is another instrument along with it and it continues with the beats for the rest of the track. It really sounds nice the way it synchronizes with the main beat. At 0:24, the track fully picks up with another instrument. I think its again some sort of processed piano or xylphone but I am not sure at all. Its got that kind of bubble-y sound to it. That is probably my favourite sound from this entire track. And then right when it plays its first few notes, vocals start. The vocals are astonishing in itself. The choir really sounds extremely nice with the music. The Mysterious aura just reeks out from everywhere after that point.
The track continues like that for a few seconds and then the guitar comes in at 0:52 (I think its a guitar). It was a good part, but doesnt really top the rest of the track for me. And then right when the guitar part finishes at 1:19, if you listen closely there are also very small string sounds added (for stereo headsets, can be heard from the right earcup) that rapidly repeats itself following one tune. Even that tune is kind of nice when you actually notice it and adds to the track. Almost all the instruments really sync very very well together and add to the total atmosphere.
This track and Blue rose sword battle are the two tracks I listened on repeat for a few weeks when I finished alicization season 1. Ill soon start my watch for another one.
Background
I did find a great background image to use, but I had absolutely no idea what I could add to it. My mind just stuck to adding fog type of effect which generally is mysterious in itself and I thought it would go well with this track. Am not super satisfied with what I made, but eh its ok~ish I guess.
