I recorded this in the summer of 2009 when someone on an internet forum asked if I'd be interested in submitting something for the Kaijuice2 CD that he was working on at the time. Long story short, the project was just recently cancelled. I don't know if they even would have used my song or not, but regardless, I decided to wait until I knew that it was cancelled for sure to upload this.
The theme of the song was supposed to be related to Japanese culture, pop culture, video games, science fiction, or something along those lines. I chose video games.
I drew a lot of inspiration from David Bowie singing "Putting Out Fire with Gasoline" and Bob Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower".
