I've been listening to this song for a while but avoided watching the opening itself until watching the actual anime, which I did during my vacation since I haven't watched ANY anime in a while. Holy shit, the visuals are probably like some of the best I've seen for anime openings... ever? It doesn't feel as typical and has such a unique usage of CGI that I've never seen before. I'm not calling Kaiju No. 8 a masterpiece or anything, but the opening itself?
