Storyline: Kai and Katherine have a brief fling but it quickly turns deadly when they team up to take control of hell. However, when Kai finds out that Katherine loves Stefan and is only using Kai, he is overcome with jealousy. He kills Stefan in anger, and tries to kill Katherine. However she kills him first showing that she will do anything to survive.
