This is an idea I've had for quite a while;;
I started it a really long time ago... and finally decided to work on it again. I thought that the beginning made a good video on it's own, so I decided to share it as a preview. This one might take me a while. The song is pretty long.
Anywho. Kagen no Tsuki is a short (about three volume) series written by Ai Yazawa (the creator of Nana) about life and love after death. There was a movie made out of it starring Hyde as Adam (lololololol).

Basically, a couple summers ago we were on this road trip, this song came on the radio, and for some reason I thought of this exact episode of Mushi Shi. It fits pretty well for the chorus, I think. ...Not so much for the rest of the song.

ANYWHO this is a Canadian cartoon based on an Argentinean comic book series about a genetically-engineered superhero named Cybersix. She disguises herself as a male school teacher named Adrian. Lucas is the love interest who gets involved in her escapades.
Eeeehhhh personally I like the comic for this series a lot better though unfortunately its literally impossible to read the whole thing (unless you can read Italian and are really good at collecting comics idk)
The series never got officially translated into English and all the fan translations are incomplete and what IS there is really hard to find.
But based on what I have read I think Cybersixs character is really fascinating and layered??? Also the plot is really intriguing. BUT all those good elements are only vaguely hinted at in the cartoon (especially since they couldnt put heavy subject matter, like the fact that the mad scientist who created her was a Nazi, in a kids cartoon) aaand instead its just hEY LOOKIT JOSES SILLY SHENANIGANS ISNT HE OBNOXIOUS HAHAHAHHAHHA yeah no
