Warp is a powerful and versatile feature that has become a signature tool amongst many creators. But sometimes, it's not needed and it can be quite frustrating when you're new to Ableton Live and you can't figure out why your audio won't play at regular speed. In this video I will not only show you how to turn it off, but also how to turn off a feature called "Auto Warp Long Samples" that prevents Ableton from warping your audio before you import it into your session.

Chop N Screw originated from Houston, Texas by a legend known as DJ Screw. "Screwing" is when the track is slowed down and "chopping" is when particular parts of the track are repeated. The traditional authentic method of chopping and screwing tracks involves the use of turntables. We'll go step by step in the process of building a beat from scratch. This includes: changing the tempo, creating instrument tracks, assigning virtual instruments, recording MIDI notes, and quantizing MIDI notes.
