Let's enjoy using vintage magazines for our junk journals, using the Letter of the Week as a creative inspiration!
For the letter K, I pull out some vintage Kitchen-Klatter magazines that my sister Karen got for me after we were reminiscing some months ago. It was the perfect subject for this Letter of the Week, and I’m so grateful to my sister for her thoughtful gift! Any vintage magazine would give you similar joy in making junk journal ephemera.
The Kitchen-Klatter brand was a staple in the rural Midwest during our growing-up years – with a daily radio show, a monthly magazine, and a host of household products brought to us by the enterprising Driftmier family of Shenandoah, Iowa. They were truly the influencers of their day!
