Recorded by @MagilexYT
2 and a half years.
That’s how long it’s been since I first joined Master Spark, TeamN2’s infamous fourth level, after Skele invited me when I expressed interest back in 2023.
This is by far my biggest, best, and most ambitious work to date, and it additionally claims the title of being my 100th finished deco part. (Yes, you read that right. I have a document where I’ve kept track for the past 4 years - docs.google.com/document/d/12e54j40DMWRXFZtvV3cznJpxBFhEpScZYb5JLG9xO98)
To start things off, I genuinely cannot overstate the following: it was, by no small means, an honor to have worked on this project.
Being the 10-11 year old kid I was when I first heard of the Korean players who would later form N2, I would’ve never expected that I would one day help them finish off their final level. Names like Minus, Cyclic, Powerbomb, Koreaqwer, COSINE (Aeidux) - these guys were some of my biggest inspirations in both creating and playing, helping to shape my vision for the decade of both creative and personal development ahead of me.
It’s really something I can’t describe - the magic of being a kid and seeing people pull off such amazing things, and making such beautiful levels, in that same silly mobile game you like to play on your tablet when you’re bored after school.
I truly feel that everything I have done so far in this game, both playing and creating-wise, has led up to this; at least in my mind, this is the moment where I’ve finally come full circle.
There’s a lot I’d like to say about the process of building the part itself, but the whole story of this journey would never fit in this description; I’ll try to give a concise rundown.
I first started this part on June 27, 2024, after Powerbomb finished his gameplay part. It took me a little while to get anything down at all, and I even had to restructure the entire part twice over, but I eventually had a decent base. However, I got too ambitious and overthought everything, and as a result I got stuck. Around 6 months ago, though, I locked in, and now finally I have finished this behemoth. If you want to read more about how decorating this went, my inspirations, etc: docs.google.com/document/d/1-_gRu3qJhUNcy8R2V5CVAfiwdtqd4BHPWTgunMhTeWE/edit
All in all, I’m just so glad it’s finally done. Was it worth it? Absolutely. HOWEVER, continuing this pattern of spending so much time and effort on individual parts is not sustainable. I think it’s safe to say I won’t ever be working this hard on anything in this game again, and I’m certainly not going to be joining many more collabs; after having made 100 finished parts, I want to do more of my own thing.
This is not to say I’m quitting though, I still have unfinished business.
I want to dedicate this part to:
- @gdskele, who’s been a good friend to me this whole time, and took a chance on me by inviting me in the first place
- @GeometryDashPowerbomb, who came in clutch with the gameplay, and has been a huge inspiration and great friend over the years
- @ThorMode, who is the only member of N2 who still actively plays and builds today; he was super supportive all along, and was a major inspiration for the part with his own amazing part from a few years ago. Since most of the Master Spark creators, myself included, weren’t actually in N2, it did really help to have even just one of the OGs around to oversee things (even moreso when considering his knowledge of the current editor!)
- @alysvxv, who I have worked on many projects with and hung out with IRL a lot, she was interested in the level and was even supposed to help me with this part at one point but that never came to be (oops), however working on smaller projects with her and other friends gave me more confidence to get going on this.
- @ollikuu, who is also in the level, and has been one of my biggest inspirations and best friends in this game as a whole now for the past few years. Him picking up his part again after 2 years of not working on it gave me the push I needed to finally finish this off.
- @SurvGD, for unknowingly helping me a lot. Hybrid showed me his WIP part in Elysium Mons a while back, and it somehow ended up giving me the bit of inspiration I needed to get out of the rut I was in with this part (more on that in the doc above.) The shapes, pulsing, and atmosphere he pulled off there are absolutely impeccable. Might seem random, but genuinely this part would not exist without it - credit where it’s due!
Once again, thanks to every one of you for all the support over the years, and for reading this far if you did! I’ve said this before, but it truly does mean the world :)
*Note: I nerfed it a little bit since this video along with fixing some things
This was started around March of last year, and has finally been finished now. I decided to submit it to the first phase of the 1.9 GDPS “Dual Phase” creator contest, where there is first a layout contest, and then a follow-up contest for decorating the few winning layouts of phase 1. I’m not going to be decorating this myself, unfortunately, but if I happen to win and anyone out there wants to try their hand at it, I would be honored.
EDIT: it didnt win lmao, I think it was probably too hard
For a while now, I’ve grown tired of seeing the same ideas used over and over again in gameplay. While it often is enjoyable ingame, I feel that traditional gameplay gets a bit too repetitive at times… and I think that is largely because said tropes are what’s proven to work and what is encouraged within the creating scene of this game at large. Generally speaking, too, media as a whole is becoming more overstimulating, flashy, and fast-paced. As we’ve seen with update 2.2 so far, GD is no exception to that, and I personally find that many have forgotten the fundamentals that got us here in the midst of all this.
So I decided, fuck it. I want to make an abstract “painting” of a level, where the gameplay is somewhat ambiguous, but still just coherent enough to make out a pattern and find a way to complete it. This meant that some parts, of course, would still be rather typical gameplay. But others, I will initially build to a specific route, which of course goes with the song; however, there will be plenty of different ways you can opt to do these parts, which are all equally as hard or harder! As you’ll see, I implemented a lot of symmetry throughout to emphasize this. In fact, something important to point out is that the blue orb I clicked in the cube at 0:43, along with all the other orbs there, are optional! If you do not click, you will start the following symmetrical part on the bottom.
I guess you could say this layout has a lot of… “swag routes”, too. Some were intentional, others weren’t, but I think it worked out just as well in the end given that was my goal. Throughout playing the level, you can take the path most in sync with the music if you please, or you can take your own path… kind of like finding your way through the thick snowfall on a winter’s day.
And on that note, you may ask, why this song specifically? Well, of course, there’s the obvious explanation that I simply just like it. I think I speak for everyone when I say it’s a banger and anyone denying that is simply lying to themself.
However, I found that the pacing and rhythm was very interesting, and over time I just kept envisioning a level to it in my head. So I went ahead and started it just to see what I could do, initially keeping things basic… of course, though, it evolved into something much more than that, and as a result it’s definitely my favorite layout I’ve finished thus far.
Overall, I would say the risks I took here by experimenting with things I hadn’t done before were totally worth it. It’s quite freeing to finally break away from the same things you’ve been doing for a good while.

April Fools! So this is actually kind of an old part, originally made in November of 2024, and it isn’t the big 100th collab part I mentioned on my community tab a little while ago.
However, since I haven't uploaded anything in a few months, and since this level got unexpectedly revived at such a time, I figured I'd take the opportunity to show this now; when @gdskele originally began this level, it took off fast but was ruled to be too ambitious, so it died for over a year…. until he randomly decided to revive it a few days ago, coincidentally just in time for April Fools, which it happened to fit perfectly for too!
My part was actually originally built on a different timestamp, but due to unforeseen circumstances it got moved to an earlier point in the level; the original rendition can be seen here - https://x.com/xsolarion/status/1865348675062452291?s=20
To get more into the specifics: put simply, Wumpus Map is one of many embodiments of Pennutoh's infamous phrase, "joke levels are a serious business". It started back in late 2024, as I said, due to our friend group having a running joke about Discord's Wumpus at the time, one that involved Waterflame's "Space Pirates" specifically (yeah I know this is hard to explain, as inside jokes tend to be, so bear with me here.) In the beginning, it was just a few of us, and the premise was that it was going to be a modern/art level. Skele himself, along with a few others like Jorbet, Artaire, and Hevii, finished some really good parts in around a week. There was lots of talk about this level in our friend group’s group chat, and despite seeing the discussion about it, I initially was not going to build in the level due to this type of style being well outside my skillset.
However, when I suddenly had the idea to do a hybrid of modern and core, I asked Skele if he'd let me cook, and he gave me the go-ahead.
Given it’s a Skele collab, the level’s lineup quickly evolved into a crazy stacked one, with the big OGs from the group like Smokes and ThorMode hopping on, and even some outsiders like Zober; the hype for the level had suddenly become real. Unfortunately, however, the reality of megacollabs struck, and a few members unintentionally went way past the point (scope-wise) where they could realistically finish their parts within a reasonable timeframe.
Despite the unserious nature and theme of the collab, I am genuinely really proud of what I made here. I got inspired by MaJackO's famous DeathCore, as well as the end of Future Demoness, mimicking the use of black outline solid color blocks combined with glow and making structures with them that are shaped like real things. As I already stated, this style was very much outside my comfort zone, but once I had the vision it just clicked, and I full sent it.
Huge shoutout to Skele for believing in me to do something I hadn't previously proven I could do; he has always been very supportive of my creative endeavors, and having had this opportunity means a lot even a year later, especially when it also meant being able to help him revive it after all this time. Also thanks to @GrenadeofTacos and @ThorMode for coming in clutch and building awesome parts last second, as well as hopping in VC while doing so for perhaps the funniest call I’ve ever been in.
Now, about that 100th collab part - as I said in my post previously, stay tuned May 13th!
merry c(ore)hristmas, 1 day late tho lol
been on the core grind lately what can i say. this is just a short 1.9 part i did for my buddy roadkiller, shoutouts to him, we've been working on a bunch of stuff together as of recent. level should be out pretty soon as I was the last to finish. tried to experiment with a lot of different shapes on this one and it was super fun :)
probably wouldn't have uploaded this under normal circumstances but hell why not, wanted to show it anyway cause im really proud of the end result.
anyways this is also probably my last upload of 2025. big things are coming in the new year, stay tuned
1.9 GDPS ID (uploaded on the account 'Darude'): 307614
The song is Darude - Sandstorm! So here's the story behind this one: a few weeks ago my friends and I were in VC. Lately there's been a bit of a core craze within the 1.9 GDPS community, due to creators like sscyt and roadkiller building some really cool and unique core levels and evolving the genre in a new way. So we had the idea to make a speedcollab where a bunch of us make core, some of us having been more experienced with it than others prior, just for fun. It was after that that I had the idea to use Sandstorm by Darude as the song, since it's iconic and funny and all that; however, since old core levels tended to use funny low-quality old Newgrounds dubstep and such, I suggested we use the 586rick Newgrounds remix of it, which would be more convenient for everyone to use anyway. A short while and a few funny building sessions later, this is what we ended up with!
Now since this is both a core level AND a speed collab, needless to say, the gameplay ended up being slightly... interesting. I had fun verifying it though, despite dying at Zamos' last wave a bunch; I didn't want to nerf it because I found it so satisfying to pull off, sorry not sorry. Anyways, we hope you all enjoy this as much as we did building it... if you can manage to!

Okay WOW am I glad this is finally over with.
Misanthrope and I have a long, complicated relationship. To fully understand what I mean, allow me to take you back in time a couple years. Let’s begin at the start of things:
Back in late 2023, several friends of mine, namely Valentine and TheJosiahTurner, were involved with Misanthrope. Being the steady collab hustler I was back then, I really wanted in on it. It was the ultimate megacollab, with menacing gameplay, truly remarkable progression throughout, and most of the biggest names from throughout GD history. The idea of being involved in it was very exciting to me, and I wanted to try to make something that would work for the level.
So I made a design of my own on a part that was shown as open in the preview, and then hit up Brittank on discord with it. At the time, the level was going for a more glow-heavy style. I was still relatively new to adapting to collabs at the time, but I was confident and wanted to try to get into the level; Brittank was very kind, understanding, and helpful in giving initial feedback too. Eventually, with the hosting at the time, this did lead to me getting a part which I eventually finished. I was pretty proud of this part; for it being my first time trying glow style ever, I felt I did a good job adapting while still retaining the quirks of my own personal style.
After finishing my part, however, was when I started to realize the sheer number of issues the level had. Even though my part got positive reception, many did not appreciate it much, as they thought that the level as a whole did not live up to the hype imposed by the layout when it was first shown back in 2020, due to not feeling particularly special in its visuals.
I eventually became a host of the level due to wanting to help out. A lot of deliberation took place over time. I really wanted to find a way to make the level work in its state, thinking of all kinds of different directions the project could be taken, but morale was low, and none of the wild ideas I whipped up while brainstorming at 4am ended up following through. At one point I even made a slideshow with every single part, and the host team went through all of them in call just to see what everyone thought would and wouldn’t work.
But as I said, alas, it didn’t work out, and eventually I just suggested to everyone that we should probably kill the level off.
However, that very same day, LordVadercraft asked Brittank if he could host his own unofficial version. This was the helping hand that came in this level’s darkest hour; one thing led to another, and we ended up full-on restarting the level, keeping only a few select parts from the original. As such, I was now set to remake my part.
… it took me a whole year AFTER that to do so. Starting this version off was a rocky road in every sense of the word, but eventually things settled down enough. At one point I even impulsively left the server because I was so stressed. But I knew I had unfinished business, and as such I came back. Helping this project move along has NOT been easy at all, but I am happy to say now that I am much more confident in and happy with the direction/state of the level than I was previously. Thank you to LordVadercraft, valentine, Brittank, and ASBCHazel for sticking with this through everything.
Now, talking about my own part. I wanted to do the same one I had before, and this time around I knew exactly the direction I wanted to take: a mainly greyscale, chaotic feeling 2.0 design part, and I really wanted to keep it authentic too. But over time, as others built their parts, I noticed they were experimenting with plenty of other colors. This intrigued me, and I realized that I should probably make my part incorporate some colors besides just grey. I also wanted to have some subtle reference to GD history incorporated into it. As such, I thought about it for a while, and then it hit me.
The idea originated from my good friend river’s part in Deimos (by ItsHybrid); it was to make the part have a randomized main color. And what better subtle way to reference GD history than having a nod to the iconic trio of former top 1 demons, the RGB?
For the style itself, I was particularly inspired by a creator named Orbital, who made a Yatagarasu CC entry back in 2.0 that I really liked. In addition, I also took inspiration from folks like Woogi, Gaero, HeroZombie80, Nikrodox, EndLevel, Aquatias, Minesap, Metalface himself, and some others.
It’s been a long, long journey with this level, but as glad as I am to be done, I am very thankful that I was a part of it :)
Oh boy where do I even begin with this one.
Back in late 2022-early 2023 I started getting into creating on the 1.9 GDPS a bit. That was where I met someone special who would go on to not only introduce me to a bunch of great people, but would soon become my IRL friend too. This was none other than @alysvxv.
She had a friend group server at the time called The Pipeline, there’s a lot of stuff that went down there but the jist of it is that it was a really crazy mix of people, which worked out both for better and worse. One of the people I met there was Awedsy, who I had heard of before as he was a well-renowned creator in both the 1.9 and 1.6 spheres.
He was hosting a 1.6 collab in the server, which I noticed when I saw a new channel had been made for it; it was called cyberpunk, and it had a finished part from Awedsy himself, but every other part was open. The deal was that he had started it a while back on the 1.6 GDPS, but was never able to quite get things moving. He wanted to get people to build on it, but since the 1.6 GDPS had just abruptly shut down, he was (understandably) having a hard time finding anyone who wanted to build in a 1.6 level.
I ended up building a part as one of my first attempts at building 1.6. It wasn’t very good, but Pipeline would later die out, and any chance the collab had at getting finished crumbled with it.
However, I remembered my part one day in early 2024. After talking about it with some friends, another of whom had also built a part (CelestialCat), I had a sudden interest in reviving the level.
So I went to Awedsy about it, and he said yes. He was on board with helping to host it too, so that we could switch off of doing things if one of us went inactive or got tired or anything like that. This would prove to be VERY helpful down the line.
Getting the lineup of creators I did for this was no small task. A few were friends from 1.9 who I knew could do a good job at 1.6 if they tried (specifically zamos and tophatmark). The other people I asked had all been around for 1.6, and I asked them if they were interested in doing one more part as a proper sendoff to the update. To my surprise, most of them said yes. It was inspiring to see so many creators, who had been screwed over, be interested in helping me put back together the pieces of a broken puzzle.
Hosting the collab was an incredibly rocky road. Multiple people had progress early on but didn’t finish until months after. By contrast, though, some others finished very quickly. So many swap-outs and turnovers in parts occurred, but in the end, the level still ended up exactly how it was meant to be.
There’s a ton of other details I want to mention that I cannot fit in this description, so here’s the full story if you want to read it: docs.google.com/document/d/19GorkutPopu5FirMH4dPtYEX95MzigOOvRzWuMgfMSI/edit?usp=drivesdk

And now, at last, this god forsaken level is done. A level that reminds us all how no matter what happens in life, Big Brother will always be looming over us, watching our every move. Cycles repeat over and over again, and yet the eye remains there, always staying open to watch it all.
Thank you to every single one of you who helped or supported along the way. It means the world.
part for a joke level hosted by a friend, joined because I have actually wanted to build to hexagon force for a while (though it's worth noting this level uses the full version of the song)
actually think this came out pretty well, I was quite inspired by metalface for this one if that wasn't obvious enough but I also let myself experiment a bit with things like warp here since the stakes weren't super high. structuring was absolute schizo shit too so that was interesting to work around, being more open minded in how I design things has helped me a ton in recent times and I think it's a large part of how I'm starting to actually develop a style that truly feels like my own.
Here it is - the third ultracollab hosted on the 1.9 GDPS, and the biggest one yet, featuring over 120 people! I don't normally upload insane demons, but wanted to upload this one since I've been waiting for it to be out for quite a while, and it's perhaps my proudest contribution to such a big level.
This level was started in September last year, and was just finished a few days ago. Watching the development process of this level was a lot of fun, but even moreso was being involved along the way! Having been there right when the level started, I was one of the first people to finish my part, but I was very excited about this level in particular. Because of this, I helped invite a bunch of people to this level who I wanted to see in it, including a number of my own friends who hadn't necessarily built much on 1.9 before. That alone is largely why, in the member list, you'll probably notice some names you didn't expect to see in a 1.9 GDPS megacollab. I also volunteered to create a Newgrounds cover for the level's song, Magic Touch by Romos, since it needed one, and that went surprisingly smooth as well! Here's a showcase with that: youtu.be/Jb4cUANOAow
In terms of my part specifically (0:24), I didn't have much of a specific idea going into it. However, as I thought about it more, ideas started to form, and pretty soon I was doing a full-on interpretation of a Kips-adjacent style in the 1.9 editor, simultaneously drawing heavy inspiration from my friend Xeinth. A lot of the techniques you'll see in my part only became popularized in 2.0, however, as it turns out, there were ways to do plenty of these things that were entirely possible in 1.9! A few of those things, particularly the secret circle and grass objects I used, were never used back in those days, so this part is undeniably one of the least "classic-feeling" ones in the level. In much the same fashion, it's also one of the most object-dense, sitting at around 6k (yikes). That being said, it was really fun to experiment with something I hadn't really done before, and I suppose it could be seen as a sort of modern take on "fanmade 2.0" levels from 1.9, like winle day by dimavikulov26.
Something I think this level truly achieves is an unfiltered showcase of the many different styles and personalities that have arisen within 1.9 over the years. This is something I haven't been able to truly appreciate and take in since I first saw Riot verify Project Reunion around 5 years ago. However, since so much time has passed since that, this level is a great way to show off all the new styles that have emerged in the years following!
I also loved the gameplay and song in Reunion, and while I do love both in this one much the same, the gameplay here wasn't quite as enjoyable for me personally; however, I had a bad experience because I was also trying to be the first victor. I didn't end up being first or even second, but rather third, as two other friends of mine who were in the collab, mephhh and Demented, ended up beating it first and second respectively. The former actually beat it only around a minute after I died at the final ship gap at 92%.
Anyhow, this was a super fun project to be a part of and I'm so glad to see it finally done (even if the last couple months were solely spent waiting for Grenade to finish his part... that globe was worth it tho im not complaining.) Thanks nab for making this all possible, and I'm super excited to see what more our niche subsection of the community does in the future!

please do not send hate to anyone mentioned in this video. likewise, if anything I said was incorrect please let me know.
anyhow new type of video here, wish my trial run at it could be under better circumstances but here we are. not a video I wanted to make or a situation I wanted to bring more attention to, especially not 2 years later, but hopefully this should set the record straight so I have my own side of the story out there. I don't wish to engage in drama further from this point on, but maybe I'll expand on this type of content in the future with stuff that is more related to the game itself.

Absolutely my best work, both on 1.9 and in GD as a whole, at least in my opinion. However, it was also by far the most effort and struggle I've put into creating ANYTHING in this game. It's quite fitting too, really. This part, in my opinion, is the culmination of my time as a creator thus far; here, as you'll see, lots of different design styles mix together to create a vast, open yet detailed section of a world.
Hard to believe this is finally done, but here we are; my god, building this part was a wild ride. I originally joined this level back in August of 2023, and had a part that I later dropped. However, after coming back with improved skills and an overall better mindset towards creating, I took up a much harder part to decorate and full sent it. Decorating this, in full, took just under a year of on and off work, having originally received the part on June 1st, 2024; however, it was only around a month ago that I got to the halfway point.
I have way too much more to say about this, and I would never be able to express just how much went into this directly in the YouTube description, so I'm going to link a google doc here which goes much more in-depth on the journey that was building this part: docs.google.com/document/d/16UPi0PUHGRcTlBnATrT2t4MMhO_XR7k3X4IPM-aNReA/edit?tab=t.0
Thank you to everyone who has supported, inspired, or believed in me up to this point. It truly means the world.
also yes undertale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 2.0 editor was pretty fun to revisit even though it (expectedly) doesn’t work well at all on the current version of ios. What I made here definitely ended up being much less authentic to 2.0 itself in my opinion (especially when compared to something like MoonLight), but I’m quite happy with it anyway; I ended up going for a tech style, drawing inspiration from a number of different creators, and I made the part centered around player colors too. Should hopefully work well with all combinations!
The transition at the end was actually the hardest part of making this, it was so hard to figure out how to get everything right.

This level is quite something. I originally heard of this a few weeks ago, when MadJack was looking for a verifier in the 1.9 GDPS discord. I didn't get around to actually checking the level out, though, as there was no video and I didn't get around to actually playing it. When there was finally a video uploaded, though, I was immediately intrigued. This is such a cool level, genuinely, and it represents the song so well. Despite the staggeringly high object count, I do genuinely believe this style has a level of validity to it. You truly get a feeling from watching something like this that you just don't get otherwise, the same type of vibe found in something like hota1991's works. The level of detail, drawbacks aside, is just truly a sight to behold.
This unique experience also carries over to playing it. Not only does the level of detail easily distract the player from the gameplay, but the lag genuinely makes up a good portion of the difficulty. The gameplay itself is, truthfully, not very hard; it's around a hard demon. However, with the inconsistent dropping of FPS, you have to stay on your feet a lot more on the more object-heavy parts. It's very easy to lose your focus and not click enough or click too much in the ship parts, for example, and frame drops can also randomly kill you regardless of preparation. Additionally, you can only account for it so much, as the amount of lag is also worse from 0%. So yeah, all in all, that does make up for most of the difficulty of actually playing this, which is why I found it to be around mid insane demon difficulty.
The level is out and updated to this version now on MadJack's account, on both 1.9 and 2.2. Good luck to anyone who tries to beat it!
You'll notice this is slightly different from my original first section cover, I did not do the double-time feel I did for that because it was too tiring to do for so long and I lack upper body strength lol. Hopefully this suffices, I got new drum heads as well and I actually learned how to tune them properly (wow!) so I'm loving this new sound. Different snare than before too - this is the one my kit originally came with, the other one was a Mapex 14x8 I had bought a few years later cause I wanted a wood snare that was deeper but I decided to switch back to the steel snare cause I realized I missed the nice bright tone it had.
Showcase of APT used by @zainyk
So yesterday when this released I got a message from tombonium on gd telling me about it. I was surprised that someone took the time to make a whole auto level out of my song, and it gave me a good laugh, so after playing it I recorded it for twitter and posted it there to show people.
What I would not have expected is it somehow getting rated while I was asleep that very night, with only 42 DOWNLOADS???? That literally means that robtop himself must have seen my post and rated it from there. Absolute insanity, but it’s a welcome surprise because this level genuinely made my day, means a lot that someone would take so much time to make an entire movie level out of this silly song I made a year ago. Huge shoutouts to tombonium and thanks to him for making this banger, glad it got rated so quickly because it deserved it 🤙
This was originally a very long (2 minutes 45 seconds) solo level by HeroZombie80 using the entirety of Stalemate. After Deadlier Clubstep succeeded as a collab, however, he wanted to turn this into one as well. I helped him host once again, and also built again obviously. This level is much more oriented towards the Death Moon-esque style of “art structures”, I got a few of my friends on board who I knew would get the job done and they all made bangers this time around, would even say it was infinitely more successful as a megacollab than Deadlier in that regard because parts by the different creators arguably have more of their own identity.
If you’ve seen the previews, then you sure as hell know that HZ is not cutting any corners when it comes to the insanity of the theme. This thing is nearly 3 straight minutes of all out schizo randomness/horror with absolutely no compromises. For some reason, the structuring of the section I picked made me think of the -4 worlds from a game I played a lot growing up, the original Super Mario Bros. for the NES (as a kid, however, I had played it on my Wii.) So I went for it, Bowser’s castle it was.
The part turned out considerably different than I expected, because I discovered a method for creating colorable pixels within 1.9 limitations using the smallest form of the hidden grass objects, which are most commonly known to have been technically added in 2.0. I said screw it and recreated the original Bowser sprite from scratch. All other assets besides the cornerpiece font were not traced in the same manner, though the pipe comes close I guess. I also obviously went for black BG so I could use some masking techniques. The image reference tool in iCreate pro came in handy for that lol
Overall glad to have this part done even though it’s so short. Good luck running this thing when it’s out, because the level’s object count is… slightly concerning to say the least
Song is Self Destruct by Pegboard Nerds, and everything in this preview is still subject to change.
Well, well, well. Here we are again.
I honestly didn’t think I would ever finish this layout but here we are. This was started not long after Revitalize was finished, maybe a month or two if I remember correctly. I wanted more people to make gameplay this time around, rather than just myself, because I thought it would be fun and a better tribute to the goofy megacollab culture of 2.0. That was what I did wrong with Revitalize, so I wanted to make it up here.
I chose this song because it’s one of many EDM/ dubstep songs I remember from my childhood playing this game! 2015 was such a golden era in so many ways, so since I used energy drink (which was a defining song of 1.9) for my last collab, I chose self destruct for this - I remember adding it to a playlist I had at the time because I loved it so much.
Unfortunately however I lost motivation to continue when there were only a few parts left to build. There was a lot of interest however, and I got a lot of people to build who I honestly thought wouldn’t - even the layout on its own came out very nicely imo, despite it taking so long. This layout took 3x as long to finish as it did for the entirety of revitalize to get finished; that’s kinda funny to think about.
However, the unfortunate news: I’m not sure when or if I will get this decorated. I would love to host it at some point, but at the moment I simply do not have time or energy; I just wanted the layout to be a finished product so that I could honor the efforts of those who built, especially Arithean, who built the entire final drop as his final creation before quitting GD entirely and leaving the internet. If you’re out there, bro, this is for you.
Anyways, hope you all enjoy the layout. This has been a wild ride and I had fun building this with my good friends!

After quite some time and no news about the level, Gloxinia is finally out! Some of you guys might recognize this level from Cyclic’s channel a while back since he uploaded the showcase, or from mine if you saw my part. I want to give my sincerest thanks to Aeidux (aka cosine) and Ryan LC for making this all possible from the very beginning, rose for verifying, and to all the creators and playtesters who helped this finally see the light of day.

Verified by @rose;
While this level was originally hosted by Aeidux, I did help out as a co host along the way, and he ended up not wanting to upload the level himself in the end. He insisted I upload it; however, while I completely respect his decision to do this (even if I think he deserved it more), it should at the very least be noted that he was the true host throughout the level’s creation process.
For some more background on the level: Aeidux originally started this in late 2022 as a small collab between a few longtime friends: Aeidux, Ryan LC, Mulpan, LEOPUS (aka Motu), and Cyclic. It later turned into a larger Korean collab (since some weren’t able to build such long parts), and eventually a fully international collab, after Ryan LC had the idea to invite Isane and myself, due to another project falling through which he had previously started with the two of us. Beyond decorating a part, I ended up helping more than I had anticipated in the creation process; I made some transitions sequences, helped find decorators, gave feedback, etc.
Eventually the level was finished, and Aeidux was set to verify the level himself, but he lost motivation over time, not to mention when 2.2 rolled around it broke the level as well. Given it was already very unbalanced, Aeidux realized he needed help, which is why he asked me if I could find a new verifier. After gauging interest among players I knew, I settled on recommending my good friend rose, since not only did she show great enthusiasm towards the level, but I also knew for a fact that she knew what she was doing given prior experience. With her help I also ended up inviting a large number of playtesters, because it became apparent quickly that balancing and fixing this level was no small task. Due to this and a variety of other complications, this process took 9 months; it was around the time of this being finalized that Aeidux reappeared out of inactivity and gave the news that he no longer wanted to upload the level. This was admittedly unfortunate, but despite this rose verified it quickly afterwards, fluking the level from 55%.
Overall, this collab was an amazing experience and I’m happy it’s finally released. Hope you all enjoy, and GL to those who will try to beat it!

this is the third and LAST time I will upload a verification of this. the first verification was on a now outdated version, and the second was the current version BUT it was done on mobile so the recording quality was bad. since I had the means to do so, I figured I would upload a definitive, high-quality verification of this. I have beaten this probably over 20 times at this point, so literally why the hell not, I just want there to be a good recording on my channel and I also want to take one last shot at getting this rated. the previous two verifications can be found here:

anyways, with that out of the way, I'll tell the story of this level. back in 2021, I was playing step to hell while streaming on twitch, when suddenly I got raided by crisis. guess who was in his chat? robtop. naturally, I was asked if I had any levels I wanted rated, so I picked two of my personal favorites: asterios by exen, and solarion (lol) by zephirox. after this happened, I got in contact with inoot, the creator zephirox collabed with on solarion, through youtube comments. he was shocked that the level had been rated, and he was also shocked that asterios had been rated - I would later find out that this was because he had a fully finished solo level inspired by the latter that was waiting to be verified and uploaded. when I asked if I could do so, noot agreed, and while he wanted to upload the level originally, he never did and eventually gave me permission to do so on my account. once again I want to thank him for that, because even after 3 years this level still means so much to me. the sequence of events leading up to this was probably the most crazy thing that's ever happened to me in gd, and I doubt anything will ever top it.
however, despite many efforts by myself, and many sends by mods, this level never got the rate it deserved. it somehow failed the old demon system, and although that has been abolished since the release of 2.2, I never really tried to get this rated again until now. this is my final attempt at bringing attention to the level, so please, if any mods see this, help me out a bit here. I don't deserve the creator points for this, but noot never had a rated level of his own despite making so many that truly deserved it. it's only right.
thank you to everyone who has shown any form of support thus far, it really means a lot. now just stay tuned, as I have more projects coming up...
The song used is Cut by Panchiko. Anyways yeah, here is what I have been working on for a little while, and will be my debut solo on 1.9. There's a little bit of a backstory to this one, so buckle up.
So my now best friend who I met around a year and a half ago, @alysvxv, by pure coincidence happened to live right nearby the college I decided on going to. We hung out a handful of times while I was there this past semester and bonded over various things like music and even creating on 1.9 specifically. One of the bands she got me hooked on was Panchiko, who are a band from the late 90s - 2000 that was long gone until 2016 when someone found a rotted, busted up CD of theirs in a pawn shop near where the band resided in the UK. The damaged contents of the CD were posted online, and they went viral quickly. In 2019 the band members were finally tracked down and contacted; they ended up reforming and releasing the album officially, as well as going on to tour and making new music.
Fast forward to the end of the semester, she had a spare ticket to a concert of theirs in the city, so we took the train there one day and went to see them. It was some of the most fun I've ever had honestly, being my first real concert, and the live performance was absolutely incredible. Everything about it was amazing, but there was one thing specially made for ONLY our show which stood out to me - the background visuals.
The visual sequence for my now-favorite song of theirs that you hear in this layout, "Cut", was an extremely trippy color filtered montage of a guy getting up, walking around his house, doing various things in odd orders from a disorienting fish-eye camera angle, then suddenly the video cuts and it repeats in a slightly different order than the last one. I don't know why, but it fit the song perfectly, and I loved it. (Unfortunately I do NOT have a video of this that I can share with you guys for reference... sorry)
Vivian had started making a level to DEATHMETAL, the band's most popular song, a while before the concert, so when she started working on it again I felt inspired -- hence, this has now led to what you see here. (You can see the preview of DEATHMETAL on her channel.) I have wanted to make a full solo on 1.9 for quite a while now, and I was doing so with Borealis, but I'm not particularly inspired to work on that anymore if I'm being honest. Someday I intend to finish and verify it, but not in the near future; I want my debut solo to be more meaningful than that.
With that said, the first decorated part you see here was directly inspired by the visuals themselves. I tried to make it trippy and have a bit of a 60s-70s neon vibe, because that's what I associate color filters like the one I saw in the visuals with. I plan to continue this through the first cube and ship parts, giving it a "neon highway" vibe that's also a bit trippy/psychedelic. You'll see what I mean eventually I guess. The transition title screen in the break section later on is also unfinished, there will be more text and art there.
As for the gameplay, I tried to make it more creative than my usual stuff, that's really all I can say. This is going to be a mid-high range Insane Demon in difficulty, without a doubt.
Props to you if you've read this far, once again huge thanks to Vivian for being awesome and to everyone in 1.9 for giving feedback and being supportive.
more collab parts coming soon (and maybe a preview of something else as well)
level hosted by wackobazacko
took some inspiration from woogi and angryboy but i put like no effort into this ill be 100
layout by pedophilegaming (crazen)
so yeah this is a rupture inspired level hosted by duke, was invited after i dropped out of kom due to struggling with ideas. i very much appreciate the patience and faith duke had for me as the other 3 creators in this are way better than I am. shoutout to duke, realvet and xolarzz fr, im sorry for keeping you all waiting for as long as I did, this was the one level that kept getting pushed back on my priority list... maybe this would've been done back in 2.1 if I hadn't pulled this shit
took some inspiration from artos' old version of this part with outdated gp
anyways with that said, this will be my last part in this style, it's just not fun to build anymore. so yeah, goodbye generic solar design style
sorry about infrequent uploads recently shits been busy, im leaving to meetup with some gd friends of mine for a week tomorrow tho so im hyped about that, maybe a video or 2 will come of it :)
Happy 1 year of "Fraud"! What might forever be my biggest hit on this channel. To celebrate and thank all of you, I have now officially released the instrumental version. Enjoy!
exactly 30k objects, probably my best 1.9 gdps part
If you guys have any more suggestions for songs you'd like to see me do, let me know in the comments.
Rate 8 stars! (At least I think it’s an 8 star idk)
On February 26, 2015, I downloaded Geometry Dash Lite for the first time.
On February 27, 2024, I am finally releasing my first ever serious solo level.
Finishing a real, serious solo level, for the longest time, has been an absolutely IMPOSSIBLE task for me to achieve. I start so many different projects when I’m inspired, but I never, and I mean NEVER had the motivation to push through and finish anything. It always took me so long and I would get bored so quickly of whatever it was, I could just never imagine actually doing that. But one day, I decided it was time for that to finally change. After many hours poured into the building process, I’m happy to say the work finally paid off.
This has been a journey to say the least. I started this level in around August last year, as a last-ditch effort to release a solo before 2.2. Needless to say, that didn’t happen, I’m a slow ass builder.
This level is basically a love letter to 2.0. While I started playing the game in 1.9 originally, and I enjoyed that version just as much if not more than most others, 2.0 was the version of GD that I truly have nostalgia for. I played actively throughout the whole of it, and its large element of goofiness was the perfect storm for 10 year old me.
Each part, as you might notice, has small text with seemingly random words. Why? Well, while it probably isn’t obvious, each part is a reimagining of something I made back in 2.0. Some of the levels here have been lost, most of them I still have but are just unfinished concepts, and only two of them are actual finished levels. In order, they are:
- Catalyst (late 2.0; lost)
- MoonLight (yes, indeed, this level was named after another before it; was mostly done in around mid 2.0, but I accidentally deleted it)
- Lethality (mid 2.0; unfinished)
- Lost Level (mid 2.0; finished)
- Electronic Rain (mid 2.0; unfinished)
- Devotion (mid-late 2.0; unfinished)
- For The Taking (early 2.0; unfinished)
- Sniper (mid 2.0; unfinished)
- Artificial Colors (late 2.0; unfinished)
- Skydock (late 2.0; unfinished)
- Eris (early 2.0; finished, but this part is based on the old version with my old part)
- Lost In Time (early 2.0; lost)
So yeah, that’s the idea behind this. I reimagined what I had or remembered of each of these levels with my now much improved editor skills and ideas, and I think it came out well. It’s absolutely insane to me that finally have something I can call a real, serious solo level after all this time.
Thank you to every single one of you who has supported me throughout my time in GD. It truly means the world, and I hope to only have more good times from here. :)
made a few months back on the 1.9 gdps
The only reason I’m leaving this public is because I think it’s a good part and I’m proud of it. I don’t want to bring any more attention or views to this level or anyone involved with it, this is just for my own personal satisfaction.
Original description:
So almost a year ago I made a part for this which I was proud of at the time, but as time went on that changed. That’s why I ended up redoing it in the end; the part you see now is not the first version that was made.
This level has been a bit of a rocky road in terms of hosting and what’s gone down with it so it’s somewhat odd in that regard, but one thing was always clear: it needs that raw 2.0 energy. My old part, while it had energy, did not look 2.0 at all looking back on it. The thought process just wasn’t there. Over time, however, I have gotten a lot better at creating if I do say so myself, and I have immensely improved at 2.0 deco specifically. So when the level ended up being revived and Xolarzz finished their part, I was suddenly motivated to make something much better. I mentioned that I wanted to redo the part and wesp was down with the idea as he wanted to change the gameplay in it anyway. I definitely think I succeeded with this; I’m very proud of what I pulled off here and I think I nailed the goofy 2.0 aesthetic as well as I could. Loved working on this and thanks again to noxiom and wesp as well as everyone else in the server for giving feedback (including arct who recorded this)
Now a bit of a channel update: I’m back at college now, and I didn’t bring my PC (my own decision). I’m aiming to overall step away from this game more and more, so don’t expect too many uploads in the coming months. I will still be building a bit on my phone probably but other than that I’m kind of spent and need a break, both to focus on other things and just for my own sanity. Hope yall understand. Also I might as well mention that I’m not a fan of a lot of the new 2.2 features anymore to be honest lol.
Now let me get some things straight: the fact that mods are INDIVIDUALLY going to either a) force currently active creators to update their levels or b) update them themselves is complete bullshit. Rob endorsed these now-broken levels by rating them even after the physics change was made public, the fact that they don't work now is no one's fault but HIS. Creators should absolutely not have to be forced to update their levels solely because of this.
However, I kind of wanted to rebeat this on 2.2 anyway, seeing as I'm a bit rusty as a player currently and I do like playing my own levels from time to time; considering the level was broken, I'd rather people be able to play it regardless of whatever stigma I'm "giving into" by updating the level.
Additionally, I am not "stealing" Elite's verification - he still verified the original version. I had updated the level once before this to nerf two chokepoints that literally every victor complained about, and I verified that myself, so technically speaking I was the verifier of the current version anyhow.
The fixes I made are as follows:
54% - Added H blocks on the edge of the slopes to prevent a bug that (to my knowledge) previously only happened in practice mode, where you would literally get killed by the edge of the slope around 50% of the time. Technically, this does nullify the level's "full 1.9 authenticity" on the gameplay side of things, but the decoration doesn't completely adhere to 1.9 limitations anyway so I don't care.
65% - removed the left yellow pad and replaced it with a micro spike. This is not a bug fix, but it's something I should have done originally anyway; it literally does not change anything about the gameplay itself, because that blue orb IS a timing. If you buffered it previously, you would die instantly after entering the ship portal due to the spike at the top. Now, if you buffer it, you just die instantly. Literally the same thing, just more obvious that it's a timing now.
94% - Fixed by far the bigger new bug in the level, which had to do with the blue pad hold. What happened here on the old version was that on 2.2 the cube would jump far too soon and hit the top of the blue pads' respective attached blocks, so it was not only no longer a hold now, it was 2 REALLY hard timings. The only fix to this that I knew of at the time I verified this (a few days ago) was to make the block outlines fake (out of 3D lines) so that's what I did. It looks about identical now, and it is once again a hold.
This update does not change the difficulty of the level at all.
Also, in my opinion this is harder than The Flawless and easier than Corrosion and Red World Rebirth.
Enjoyment: 10/10
Originally Cyclic was supposed to decorate his own gameplay, but due to being enlisted in the military, he was unable to finish decorating it. However, Aeidux still had the copy of his layout, so I was given the opportunity to do it myself. If you want to see his original unfinished deco: youtu.be/CxUa7B0EpM8
This was a great building experience! Despite what some might have to say about Cyclic's gameplay, it was actually structured very well and was fun to decorate. I did hit some roadblocks with progress (I joined this level back in July) but I got through them. For this part I mostly went with my basic design formula, but I wanted to make it look like something out of a Korean megacollab, so you might see some small touches I added in that regard. I also experimented with glow effects, taking inspiration from KuraiYonaka's part in Deimos (who, by coincidence, also ended up joining the level not too long ago). I tried to visualize the song well and I think I succeeded at that, and I do believe that this part could very well be my best work to date.
Thank you to everyone involved in this project, and I can't wait for it to release.
There's a few new parts here that I've previously posted on twitter, these are from the past couple of months, hope you guys like them. I also went back and improved the predrop a little bit, it is still subject to change as of right now.
As for difficulty, I still have no idea how hard this is besides that it's easily harder than Quantum Theory, all gameplay is still subject to change. Maybe top 10 on 1.9, I don't really know. I recorded the full layout because I've changed some gameplay since the original layout showcase.
The first half of the level is a decent amount harder in this than it is in Red World, and it's easy to lose consistency at, which I did. I played only a few attempts after doing an initial practice run and immediately fluked all the way to 48%, then I continued to progress until I got 92% in only 500 attempts. Then I started playing a lot worse, I would eventually get 96 in not too many more attempts but I ended up dying to dumb things a lot and it took me a whole extra day and 3k more attempts as a result. Despite the last ship being easier, I ended up dying to it more than I did the Red World ship, with 94x2, 96x5, and 97x3. I honestly don't really know if this is better than Red World, it fixes a lot of the issues it had as well like the 3 biggest chokepoints (drop ship, 72% gap, last ship) but is overall just less consistent and more tedious to play from 0 (especially due to the first 2 ball clicks holy shit those are annoying). I would recommend this if you've already beaten Red World, or if you just want a relatively straightforward easy extreme. Overall, it's just kind of meh.
Enjoyment: 6/10

In other news, I’m in college now and my classes officially start today. Absolutely 0 idea how much free time I’ll have from here on out, so if my activity suddenly dwindles, you’ll know why. Will try to keep you guys updated however as I still have quite a lot of collab parts to build before 2.2 D:
This is my first extreme with the sayodevice o3c, this thing is overpowered as this was literally the day I got it
Ever since I first saw the old version of this on ToshDeluxe’s channel back in 2015, I’ve wanted to beat it. The first time I watched this and was introduced to this song gave me such an eerie, unsettling feeling which has never worn off. The new version amplified it even more, along with its insane difficulty at the time - this level was truly intimidating.
Fast forward to around 3 years ago at this point and I’m watching powerbomb, the verifier of this level, stream zodiac on twitch. I told him that if he got a new best that stream, that I would beat the hell factory.
That stream, he proceeded to get 82% and shortly after 92%.
TWO new bests, which, unbeknownst to me at the time, would foreshadow what happened to me; I ended up having to beat the level twice.
I now had a promise to fulfill. Now of course this element of it wasn’t technically super important as time went on but I never forgot it and used staying true to my own word as a motivator to finally beat this. When I first tried to learn it, it was IMPOSSIBLE. My hardest was Infernal Abyss at the time and I had jumped to that from Cataclysm, so even doing the memory maze once took me around 500 attempts at least. I came back to it here and there every now and then, not really able to make progress, and, as those who have known me for a while will confirm, this is the level I would never stop calling impossible and underrated in difficulty.
This summer, I set a goal for myself, a goal to finally finish this. Seeing as I’ve now beaten 5 levels harder than it (8 going by list placement) I felt it wouldn’t be too bad at this point, but boy was I wrong. This took FOREVER to get consistent at, even after all this time and all the skill I gained.
Despite that, I eventually started making progress, albeit slowly. It was consistent for a while… until it wasn’t. The way this level is balanced and how it plays out REALLY mindblocks you. You have slow parts that aren’t very tight, so they should be easy, right? WRONG. The beginning has a very weird tendency of being 100% consistent some of the time and then screwing you over when you mess up the awkward click pattern at other times. The slow mini wave at the drop also kicked my ass hard, I choked at it so many times from 0 because I started thinking too much and it was really infuriating. On the occasions when I did pass that, however, I would most of the time die to 56% (the blue orb in between the yellow ones). This, in my opinion, is the single hardest click in the entire level and it is a nasty chokepoint from 0. It doesn’t help that it’s easy to jump too early and not reach the platform at 59%, before getting thrown right into the hellscape that is woogi’s ship. THAT was really hard to get consistent at, let me tell you. The awkward blue orb slope timing at 66% and the subsequent portal entry timing at 67% make for an absolute learning hellscape, doing woogi’s part even once took so goddamn long. Thankfully, after that there’s not much to reasonably die to at all, although the last ship is the definition of “chokeable but not hard”; I died there 4 times.
Now the real cherry on top here is the fact that I had to beat this twice. The first time I beat it, I misclicked and turned off instant replay instead of saving my recording. I rebeat it around an hour and a half later, but it was so anxiety and stress-inducing. Never gonna make that mistake again.
My own experience aside, this level is pretty solid. It’s very well made and the gameplay is super unique especially for its time. However, the beginning and slow sections make it mentally taxing from 0, and the huge chokepoints don’t help either. I don’t know if I would recommend it but if you like this kind of gameplay then I definitely would. The only thing is, it’s deceivingly hard, this is WAY harder than bloodbath and even harder than infernal abyss imo. Do not go for this unless you’re really ready for a challenge.
8505 attempts (I might have deleted some old copies I really don’t remember)
Enjoyment: 7/10
The level's undergoing major revamps all around because a lot of the original parts were just kinda mid and overall not great (thanks to a certain host rushing literally everyone) so I got asked to update my part, which I accepted. While I was frustrated at first with how I had done everything originally, I removed a lot of unecessary individual object HSV and the part suddenly looked a lot cleaner. I also removed the glow on the tops of the structures because it looked bad, and removed the glow beams in the background, replacing them with the new ones you'll see here which add more intensity. I also replaced one of my base designs with a more modern looking thing that I think is much better, I replaced the inside of the black design with gradients and 2.0 fire texture, I replaced my black spike design with something more flat and fitting, I redid ALL the pulses because my original ones honestly just sucked, and to top it off I added my new logo because the one I originally made for this part just wasn't readable. Overall had fun doing this and I'm definitely glad I decided to. Thanks Narwall and Valentine for being actual good hosts lol

@KaiGuyGD your move
Yeah, I did another one. Been seeing the dumb things KaiGuy has been saying lately and doing lately, so I decided it was time. Put a bit more effort into this one, recorded real instruments and everything because I felt like it so I hope you guys enjoy lol

1.6 ID: 94
2.1 ID: 94200144
[Original Description]
This was done on an Android emulator because 1.6 was only available on Android.
30 second 1.6 level I made and verified in under a day, first time trying 1.6 and I think it came out well. Also this is the first uploaded demon on the new 1.6 gdps so that's awesome.
This is actually the first time since Stalemate that I've beaten a new hardest off stream. I did this because I kinda wanted to beat it in call as I was enjoying it more, and calling while streaming just doesn't work too well for me. Thanks to the G's in DA SKWAD for being awesome and supporting me, especially Ryoui, Tenzhii, Cersia, Slithium and Magmeta.
Anyways, where do I even begin with this? Since the first time I saw Surface I've always been a big fan of HeroZombie's levels, and as he got more into 1.9 creating that very much held true. I first saw Quantum Theory on HZ's twitter, when he posted a full noclip run of an early version saying he was looking for a verifier. I liked the level a lot and found it interesting. Not long after, a friend of mine, Skipper, contacted him and got the verification. I saw him mention it in the demonlist server and said he needed playtesters, so I volunteered. I did a practice run on 75hz to test for bugs, there were none, I found the level absolutely impossible because I was playing on my shitty macbook at the time and yeah.
Fast forward a year, I was looking for a new hardest to do since Step To Hell had been my hardest for ages. I remembered Quantum Theory and did a practice run, but... it was just way too hard. I ended up doing DubKore X first, because that level fit my skillset way better and in general was just very accessible and overrated on the list. A while passed after I beat that, then recently I thought about doing a new hardest again to prepare myself for verifying Borealis (when I finish it). I revisited this, and suddenly it didn't seem so bad. I played it on and off for a week, then I decided to fully commit to it, after which it took me 2 weeks to beat. That might not be too long, however I struggled on this a lot.
This did not fit my skillset NEARLY as well as DubKore X did. Its difficulty is much more concentrated in timings (and wave) than ship, which I'm best at. Hell, the only genuinely hard ship parts were literally just timings in themselves (like 65%). At first, I progressed somewhat quickly, with my first 2nd drop attempt being 65%, my third being 84%, and my 9th or 10th being 98% (which you'll see at the beginning of the video). After the 98, I got so miserably unlucky, with 25 deaths at 65% onwards, 3 of which were in the last 10%. It felt so good to beat it in the end, even if it didn't take too long.
Overall, this is a really fun and overall great level, but some parts feel awkward at times and don't play all that well. I enjoyed it a lot at first, but my experience brought it down by a slight margin. Either way, I'd definitely recommend this as it's undoubtedly one of the better levels on the list right now (even though it's #140 - beat it while you can). Thanks to Skip for being the reason this all happened and HeroZombie for making an absolute banger of a level.
EDIT 6/17/23: In terms of difficulty, a lot of victors say this is underrated, some even going as far as to say harder than Gamma; personally, I don’t agree with this at all, I think this is definitely fine where it is as it’s undoubtedly easier than Cersia Madness (which is an actual underrated level) and Yatagarasu (sorry vonic).
27,459 attempts
Deaths at/past 65%: 65x8, 66x4, 69x2, 73, 76x4, 79x2, 84, 90, 93, 98
Enjoyment: 8/10

OKOK first off I'm sorry for hopping on the trend like everyone else LOL but I couldnt resist hitting the stu and spitting some bars
Anyways I wrote and made this for fun in a day, not super high effort or anything. I took inspiration from Rucka Rucka Ali's old music videos, hope you guys enjoy it. Wanted it to be a fun counterpart to the serious end of this subject since this has been hard to deal with for a lot of people.
For those wondering yes I made the beat too

For anyone curious, the song is Birefringence by ErikMcClure/Blackhole12.
I need playtesters; hit me up if you wanna give it a go, solarion#9656
About this level, I beat it pretty fast so I don't really have much to say about it. Personally, I found it very fun. The whole thing got incredibly consistent and the end of ATSOL is such a fun and chaotic song to have in a level I'm playing, it was a really fun experience. Easily the best trilogy level imo, once again props to my man Exenity for making a great level all those years ago (even if he doesn't agree himself lol). The hardest part for me was surprisingly Vultra's ship, the first wave somehow actually got consistent which I didn't expect.
Anyways, this was my 198th demon, stay tuned for 199 and the big 200...
I'd recommend this to absolutely anyone, but I can see why some might not like it.
Enjoyment: 9/10

Custom Newgrounds song cover by me: newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1195857
Well well well, 4 months later here we are. Not bad compared to my first megacollab, Eris, which took 7 years (and counting for the verification). Back in 2015, I heard the song "Energy Drink" by Virtual Riot in a gd level on the recent tab. I thought it was super cool, so I wanted to host a megacollab with it! And, what better way to do that than message everyone on my GD friends list? What could go wrong, right?
Yeah needless to say that didn't happen, but of course, we bounce back. I remembered this back in November last year, so I made the layout for this in around 3 days. I made it completely under the limitations of 1.9 because I wanted it to play like a level from that era - a little bit awkward due to weird portal placements and structuring, but not enough so to the point where it's inconsistent. Once the layout was done, I immediately started messaging decorators I knew, and before I knew it I had a full lineup. I even managed to get some real 1.9 OGs like PhantomX, VERSU5 (CompleXx) and Jo2000! Things were looking great, and unlike last time, they actually stayed that way! Everyone did their own thing, but also built off each other's ideas. It obviously had no set theme, because I wanted this to be like a classic 1.9 megacollab where everyone did their own thing. Sure enough, it worked out in my favor, because all these decorators did a great job :) Then, the thought came up - I could easily verify this myself, since it's only a hard/insane demon, but wouldn't it be cool to have my good friend Elite, who was an actual top player back in 1.9, verify my epic 1.9 megacollab? I hit him up with the idea and he said yes. When this got finished yesterday, he told me he would play today and then made quick work of it. Shoutout to him he's still a crazy good player after all these years fr.
Anyways, I don't have much more to say here. Here's to hoping this gets rated, and thank you to everyone who helped along the way! Stay gnarly bros.

Just a quick note, I know there are some small non 1.9 details in this level, the reason is because I wanted to let people use things like pulse triggers because it makes everyone's life easier. In future collabs, though, I'll keep things under stricter limitations so it can be uploaded onto the 1.9 GDPS
