Governments hate for honest journalists is progressively becoming more and more bipartisan. The state has completely co-opted the corporate press, and they work together to constantly demonize and destroy real journalists, all while censoring anything counter to their narratives. There is likely no journalist who has suffered more under the thumb of the state than the founder of Wikileaks, Julian Assange. The US government now has our free press as well as the global free press tied up in the indictment against him. Kendra Christian, founder of Denver Action to Free Assange, spoke to us about some of the awful crimes that have been committed against one of the greatest journalists to ever live, and what we can do to help.
