On Saturday June 23rd 2012, GO Transit began running bi-directional service for the first time on the Barrie Line. The new weekend service was operated with two trainsets, which passed each other at this siding just north of Maple Station.

The trains met further north than I had anticipated, so I didn't catch the meet itself, only the trains individually.

Location: Milepost 19.40 of the Metrolinx Newmarket Subdivision (at Teston Road).
Speed limit: 60mph (97km/h)

0:40 - Northbound 10 car train with F59PH 564 and MP40 612
2:14 - Southbound 10 car train with F59PH 557 and F59PH 560
