Four years ago today I released my first MAP part. I made the character based on the MAP's theme and went for it.
Today I've recreated this OC into an Epsilon group Antediluvian and redid the part in spirit of this anniversary.
Unlike most animators who start animating because they naturally like art and were inspired by other's fan content (namely Warriors), I started simply because it was a thing to do. Four years ago I never would've seen myself where I am today, I'd think I got big over my Sonic fangame I never finished. Instead I'm still animating and still making funky characters with angular eyes. Who knew.
This whole redo was done in one day, so it hasn't taken away from the production of anything else. Additionally, the walk cycle sketch was from about a year ago.
Epsilondiluvians are still in a massive beta phase and won't be finished before ArtFight. I don't even know the name of the character shown here. Each Epsilondiluvian has a color, a Thelemian god, and one of seven deaths; this character is blue, Horus, and Angel. Epsilondiluvians can augment reality for their users, the telling factor of using this power being the markings on their face. That's all I have on them, and all I needed to finish this part.
Sorry about interlacing the walk cycle. It was extremely choppy without it.

[This song is titled Sweet Dreams, however to separate it from Eurythmics song by the same name, its also known as Nightmares Lullaby.]
This MAP is centered around a Wings of Fire alternate universe, or AU, where Peacemaker does know of Darkstalkers existence and vice versa, which has proven to not be the case in the canon storyline. A part of Darkstalker still lives inside Peacemaker, and the two interact while Peacemakers asleep within his mindscape. Darkstalkers goal is to coax Peacemaker into giving him control of his body, and while in control, he will seek out each animus dragon one by one until one agrees to split Darkstalker and Peacemaker, restoring Darkstalker to his former glory.
This MAP will show the second rise of Darkstalker and the fall of Peacemaker, told from Darkstalkers perspective- and the deterioration of the dragonets mental state until he breaks for good. A wonderfully dark story just in time for Halloween.
