Now living in the small and beautiful WA town of Nannup, situated close to the Margaret River wine and food region, Miranda is focused on developing various aspects of her practice including working on major portrait works of women, creating small alla prima works, en plein air landscapes and still life as well as continuing to paint larger landscapes and figurative works.
Living in a region with amazingly diverse flora and fauna, Miranda is inspired to include many of these in her work also. Recently she has developed an interest in exploring themes related to domesticity and the changing attitudes to and roles of women over recent decades.
